Well it's his choice not to spend the meter you can play phoenix team while spending meter but it's a tricky balance it was easier in mvc3 where meter build was bigger. But in Umvc3 if you want the dark pheonix you need that 5. | ||

It doesn't limit him, his team is based around jean. You saw him just use a meter to get a kill, that is rare. Most of the time you need to not use any to make sure you have 5 | ||
