"so wats teh big deal, pantybro?" well, in short; it struck me yesterday, that I've become a fairly recognizable guardian amongst the dungeon farmers on whiteside ridge. that being said, I decided to put my knowledge into something that could be of use to everyone, and this is what I came up with; probably the most stupidly overpowered guardian solo/party/pvp/pve build. a combination of weapon sigils, might-stacking, critical hits and survivability. sounds too good to be true if you ask me. note: there's a stupid amount of shit you can do with this build, depending on your weapon sigil list of shit you can do, note that these will proc all the fucking time because your critical chance will be between 72-78% (unbuffed) and 82-98% (buffed); + Show Spoiler + Sigil of Superior Air 30% chance to cause a lightning strike on a critical hit. (This effect cannot trigger more than once every 5 seconds) Sigil of Superior Blood 30% chance to life steal on critical. Sigil of Superior Earth 60% chance to do a 5s bleed on critical. Sigil of Superior Fire 30% chance to cause flame blast on critical hit causing AoE damage. (This effect cannot trigger more than once every 5s) Sigil of Superior Frailty 30% chance to cause vulnerability for 10s on critical hit. Sigil of Superior Ice 30% chance to cause a 2s freeze on a critical hit. Sigil of Superior Strength 30% chance to apply might for 10s on critical. Sigil of Superior Purity 60% chance to remove a condition on critical. (This effect cannot trigger more than once every 10s) Sigil of Superior Nullification 60% chance to remove a boon on critical. (This effect cannot trigger more than once every 10s) Sigil of Superior Rage 10% chance to gain quickness for 3s. (This effect cannot trigger more than once every 45s) btw, I highlighted those sigils that are particularly overpowered with this build. sigils explained; sigil of superior strength, aka. the super mighty panty build. 30% chance to gain might on critical hit, in addition, empowering might* will grant you and your allies 5 seconds of might everytime you crit. long story short; the effect is determined by the following formula 0.375 * level + 5 = (+35) power/condition damage per stack (at lv 80), or in panty words; lots of fucking bonus damage. 35 * 20 = 700 bonus damage. 35 * 25 = 875. this is damage we're talking about, condition damage, too. oh, and think of all the bonus damage your whole party will land. *empowering might, honor, master trait, nearby allies gain might for 5s when you land a critical hit. sigil of blood, I'll cut the crap and just tell you how it is; you won't die. sigil of superior earth, I don't know if I should recommend this, but I'll do it anyway. bleed can stack 25 times, it does pulse damage per second. note that the damage cannot be determined by the following formula 0.5 * level + 0.05 * condition damage per stack per second, as seen on the guild wars 2 wikipedia. however; assume 60,8-74,3 damage per second per tick with 600 condition damage or more. in case you want 1400 condition damage and 110,3 dps per tick, here's a list of sick items you can get, assuming you already are maxed out on condition damage from armour and staff, hammer or greatsword. + Show Spoiler + rabid/carrion amulet: +798 condition trait attirbutes: +300 condition rabid/carrion gem: +125 condition malice runes: +183 condition total = 1406 or +70.3 condition damage capped damage = 110.3 per tick nvm they nerfed my fav build + Show Spoiler + and now to my baby; the "fast as fucking lightning" panty puma build sigil of superior rage. if you've seen the mesmer class, then you've probably been subject to it's fan-favored elite ability called time warp.* it basically buffs the attack speed of players within the warp zone. what it actually does is applying quickness** to you for 10 seconds. long story short; sigil of superior rage does the exact same, except it won't affect your allies, but who the fuck cares. it has a 10% chance on crit to proc, which with 80% crit chance or more is pretty fucking good. not to mention what kind of sick nightmare it unleashes ONCE it procs. remember empowering might? yea, well, more stacks for you, double the attack speed meaning DOUBLE TEH DPS OUTPUT, AND DOUBLE SKILL ACTIVATION AND COOLDOWN, whoa, whoa, just thinking about it gives me an erection. *time warp, mesmer elite ability, creates an area that warps time, granting the caster and his or her allies quickness. **quickness is an effect that makes all skills and actions twice as fast. when granted by non-elite skills it usually comes with some kind of temporary drawback, such as penalty to endurance regeneration or increase in damage taken, BUT NOT THIS TIME, CUZ IT'S A SIGIL. now, to teh traits; radiance; 30. major traits - adept: signet mastery (-20% signet cooldown) i.e., from 40s cooldown to 32s on signet of resolve* - master: powerful blades (sword dmg increased by 5%) - grandmaster: righthand strength (+15% crit chance with 1h weapons) honor; 20. major traits - adept: superior aria (-20% shout cooldown) i.e., from 60s to 48s on "save yourselves!"** - master: empowering might (5s of might for you and your allies, everytime you land a critical strike) zeal; 20. major traits - adept: fiery wrath (+10% dmg to burning foes) - master: greatsword power*** (+5% dmg with greatsword) *signet of resolve, healing ability. cures a condition on you once every 10s. **"save yourselves!", shout, draws conditions from nearby allies and grants you multiple boons regardless; fury, vigor, might, protection, regeneration, swiftness, retaliation (all 10s) breaks stun. ***note that I only use greatsword power because my weapon switch is greatsword. offhand; focus, just because of ray of judgement and shield of wrath. in combination with the 1h sword, you'll have sick survivability, and with 5 trait points into honor, you get the trait minor "vigorious precision", which gives you 1s of vigor everytime you crit. vigor increases your endurance regeneration by 100% in short; a lot of fucking survivability. so that's it, hope you enjoy. | ||
