Lack of qualifiers is a shame though.

Moon and Lyn came back to WC3 for a few weeks and won the qualifiers in 2011. Lyn won the whole tournament. WC3 never leaves your system. | ||

The funny thing was that he was here in our country playing an SC2 event a week before the WCG qualifier finals and he placed 2nd in that. Dude is sick. | ||

A bunch of fans (including me ...) have already asked Moon if he's playing, but he's choosing to politely ignore the questions, lol. I half-want him to return, but on the other hand, I'm not sure how well he can play, esp. with such strong competition, and I don't want to see half-assed play from someone like him. Not practicing SC2 for two months would set him back immensely, but not grinding out War3 would see him completely slaughtered. Even though the competition's nowhere near as tough these days, players like Lyn and Fly100% are beastly, and all China's HUs are very strong. Not to mention ReMinD, who can out-mirror Moon even if Moon's in good shape. | ||

Your analysis is outstanding , and I have to agree that playing wc3 this WCG may not be a good idea for him career and performance wise....but the little moon fan inside wants to see him win a WCG  I believe time is still in his favor , he might win a WCG in sc2 someday , if somehow the moon of 2005 & 2007 claws his way out , I think I will qq alot as a terran player because he might break TvZ  | ||

Especially when you consider that KR really only gets to send one rep this year (according to Lucifer in this interview, note that this was released on Aug 21 before the announcement that KR decided not to hold qualifiers), so Moon, Lyn, and ReMinD still have to play games afaik to determine who to finally send? I'm still waiting on news from this front. I'm not sure if Russia is holding any quals. I'd be shocked if they weren't given their fairly strong player pool (Nicker, Hawk, Cash), but given what just happened to KR ... =_= | ||
