Objectives? it's like starcraft. Get an early edge by raiding your neighbors early or take risks by focus on economy (some resources are finite).
Ah thanks, So other than the PvP and the claiming, does it start off similar to normal survival mode?
I'm not looking for a step by step here :D just wondering if my fort building experience will transfer across lol

Answers can be found in the OP. You'll start off in a starter town that we've made and from there you will need to make your own way, or your way with your faction. Mob spawns are more intense. It is highly suggested you enter the server with a plan and/or a group, otherwise you will have a lot of trouble on your own at night.

well the event is starting early by a week as oppose to the original 11th so consider this an early advantage for those who keeps up with this thread.

I've always wanted, ever since I started playing, to do something like this. Form a faction, become a contender with other factions etc.

Ill be creating a tutorial video tonight to show the beginners how to do the basics, (claim land, use special tools and weapons, etc) and then I'll pull the switch and give out the IP.

There's no "in". And if any of the "helpers" can tell you, they know as much as you do.
That being said, I'm going to announce the start time being 3:00 EST PM on Monday.
That will allow EU players a good time to log on, and also US players as well.
The server is located in New York, NY. Closest US location to EU, and still reasonable for US peeps.

I'll be creating a faction with a couple TL friends, we'll be quite active as we have nothing else to do, and we'll probably be more axed on pvp. I think we'll recruit a few people to be bigger, so if you're interested and plan to be active, pm me.
