You should implement that in-game as well, since mods already take care of that on the forums as is, and most of it takes place in-game anyways (especially from a few specific individuals). | ||

Unless I have been completely unreasonable in my concerns, in which case someone please point out how, I don't see how you can say I'm just like every Loner who "turned into shit" (which I actually disagree with, as palan has actually been quite spot on in his posts). What's funny is you're accusing me of shitting myself right before you admit that one good way to respond is fighting BM with BM, which definitely isn't the case. You know what happens when you respond to BM with BM? The cycle just repeats and that's what turns conversation into "shit". Ignoring it is a good response though, I'll give you that, but it isn't the only way to respond, and not the best either in a lot of cases. I prefer to try to help solve the problem instead of ignore it, and I believe it isn't too hard to solve in this situation. | ||

I'm sorry that you feel that way, but do you realize you sound like you're willingly endorsing misology? Not to mention the idea that the two things seem to be logically impossible because when one is raging, they're clearly acting from emotion, not intellect. Your example is a biased one as well because it misrepresents the circumstances as explained above, here's a better one: It's like someone mocks me in a monopoly game, but it's clearly over-the-top as well as just wrong, so I logically point out that their mockery is actually not even a good one, so I am then "raging" by doing that? It seems a lot more to me like they're the one raging to begin with, and even further raging when someone points out that what they're doing is just silly. The issue here is that their fun is derived from trolling and flaming others rather than from playing the game, so of course they're going to be upset when someone points out how immature they're acting. I personally don't even believe this thread is ruined, it can easy get back on track if people were to just stop trying to justify their in-game trolling and flaming and man-up. You're being extremely hypocritical and absurd by thinking it's okay to rage at someone, but not okay for them to respond to it. I highly doubt anyone is directing their discourse towards the cubical pixel characters as well, but if someone is they should realize they're attempting to communicate to a non-sentient being. The BM might be fun for you when you're doing it, but it obviously isn't fun for the majority of the people who want nothing to deal with it, and it is directed at people, not objects (I don't even know where you were going with that). Here's a better conclusion: My response to BM in-game is an attempt to help people mature and realize they can still have fun in the actual game, not just have fun at the expense of flaming others and trolling all the time. If you can't realize that, it's your problem not mine because I'm not going to stop being mature about it, but at least keep the trolling and attempts to justify it out of the thread. If you could do that, the thread would actually be clean and wouldn't be filled with arguments (which ironically is what you want, a clean thread, yet you defend the very origination and cause of said arguments, the trolling/flaming. Paradoxically, you also want drama at the same time, which is bound to conflict with a clean thread). What I'm doing is a response to the problem, the response going away doesn't solve the problem, the problem needs to go away at the source, so please stop trying to defend trolling/flaming and others attempts to justify them in this thread. There's nothing wrong with teasing and joking around with others in the name of humor and fun, or even promoting competitive spirit by taunting the opposition in a healthy way. That is not what has been going on though (in regards to the arguments in this thread). There are way more factions then are listed there and I don't think ninja is going to update OP with every faction. Could be wrong tho. | ||
