Never thought that much about peeking, it should come really handy. I'm guessing rotation comes from game sense or from good teamwork? I check corners most of the time (sometimes i just shut off my brain and/or get tunnel-vision but will work on that). I check radar all the time (especially when someone dies or when i hear footsteps) and i try to communicate all the time with the team (although as sure as you know it can be very stressful). Mentality is not an issue.
Is there any video on peeks?

and noob question, what is 64tick? slow server or?

64tick is bad and hurts reg

(red hit boxes are hits the client registers)
It means the server checks 64 times per second for positions, shots, and player movement.

AdreN has a good video on peeking. It's specific to inferno re: angles but the general concepts apply to every map

I don't eat a bunch of bullets. I eat all of them. I'm like a magnet I need to stop playing with the CS team of our clan. I rank really higher than i should be and when rushing i like die 100% of the time. because i don't know how to dodge and i'm slow. I eat all preshots etc...

So basicly you rush and when you are first in line you preshot like a madman and pray ? did i get that right ? It's all in the speed ?

With the right smokes first in line has some tiny chance at survival, but never much. Realistically his goal is to make the enemies empty magazines or have a lot of recoil entropy on their weapons before the rest of your team can be shot.

The new patch today was pretty neat, although the scoreboard is really annoying with mousecontrols.
But they fixed hitboxes and gave new headshot animations so you dont miss the second shot if you are hitting from the side

- Scoreboard changes:
-- Added ability to use mouse cursor in scoreboard.
-- Cursor will be enabled on the scoreboard by default in halftime and endmatch.
-- When alive or spectating, if the scoreboard is visible, the cursor can be enabled by using secondary fire.
-- Players in scoreboards have left click context menus that allow you to commend, report, block communcation, etc.
-- Scoreboard will adjust to the size of the number of players in the match. Max is still 24 players.
-- Combined clan tag and name tag into one field.
- Fixed the CZ-75A icon not showing overhead during freetime.
- Added Commonwealth of Independent States flag, uses alpha 2 code "CC".
- Fixing aspect ratio of a few flags.
- On community servers after mp_swapteams or vote to swap teams the game will also swap team names and flags.


[GAMEPLAY]
- Adjusted the rules for dropping a grenade upon death: you now drop your most recently selected grenade. If you never selected a grenade, you will drop the most expensive one.
- Improved player hitbox alignment.
- Players shot in the head from the side will play a new left or right headshot flinch animation, instead of forward or backward.
- Defuse kit art has been adjusted to make them more visible.


[MISC]
- Reduced client virtual memory usage.
- Fixed an out of memory crash that could occur while downloading workshop maps.
- Fixed a hitch related to inventory icon loading.
- Players that fail to properly validate with VAC will no longer get the generic "Invalid STEAM UserID Ticket" message and instead see "An issue with your computer is blocking the VAC system. You cannot play on secure servers."
- Started a trial of official competitive matchmaking on servers in South Africa.

They just painted the little gap at the b-tunnel crates black, your crosshair still turns red when someone runs through it if you're looking through there

Forgot one thing.

Added Feature: Client will randomly crash when viewing CSGO profiles.

God that 64tick server vid makes it so i know i cant spray and need to just single shot. Unless its a p90?

I had my first case of overwatch. At first it looked like he was just really good at awp, picking off people as they crossed mid. But then was pushed up to doors at mid and was headshotting people with ak as they walked over. Nail in coffin, guy was camped at ctspawn and he tried headshotting him through the boxes before realizing he needed to run around.

The 64-tick video was depressing.

I'm using an autoexec.cfg that someone posted a few pages back, but it still reports 64 ticks when I'm in MM.

MM servers force 64 tick, if you play on altpug or esea or 128 tic private servers you will be at 128 tic

Hm the patch introduced some good old bugs blizzard style; the tab key sometimes doesn't work and you have to change resolutions to make it work again :/
