I don't play PoE anymore (waiting for more content), but for the races I'll probably come back a bit. Endless Ledge sounds fun. Not really interested in the signature though, as I don't really like Turbo.

Jesus christ. What a stupid race. Got first to upper submerged and ledge and then everything went to shit. I didn't get a sabre drop or boarding axe past brutus so I was still rocking lvl 6 swords at that point. No res ring for vendor, no blues in any of my zones. I was lvl 12 in the cavern of anger and got one shot by red exploders.

Really frustrating I was on pace with the top 10 and died as 20th overall but what can I do with such shitty rng.

Died on first pull in mud flats on first char. Manned up on some roars, then they friends charged me offscreen and killed me at like 99% xp. Second char died on first freeze summoner in upper submerged that blocked me inside and owned me. Third time sure was the charm, started char at almost 20 minutes in.. Found quicksilver on first pull in ledge, killed brutus with only minor pots without backing of once, he only hit like 1\4 and I didn't even have good evasion gear LOL. Second quicksilver on first few pulls in act2 then afk farm sins.

sigh, i was doing pretty well and then my 2nd level in ledge had undying alchemists, tentacle miscreations, the vulnerability curse guys from lunaris 2/3 and stone golems... lol.

went to watch kripp after and see apes + bandits from act2 >_< so good. he still managed to die though.

i could've made a new char but tbh my fun for PoE is pretty low and that was just stupid.

This was pretty weird race. Since there's no guarantied weapon upgrade I ended up having to use whalebone rapier (lvl7) + sabre (lvl10) at lvl 18. When I finally found 2 cleavers I more than doubled my dps

I feel like if I was just messing around I would have really enjoyed Endless Ledge, but I dont really like it at all for a race. It seems even more RNG intensive than Descent. I was top 10 and died to the first pack in the 2nd zone; 10 LMP magic firedogs. Went from facerolling to essentially one shotted trying to run past them. I rerolled a pure defensive cleave/roa marauder, but I didnt get a single anything with dex until level 11 so I was actually just a bad cleave because i never actually dropped a 2nd 1H, and ended up just using a 2H sword to cleave with instead. I dropped more ID scrolls the magic/rares combined and only dropped one currency item; a chance orb. Seemed like a LOT less loot, pack sizes were a lot more consistant than they usually are, which left all the RNG to what the pack was, which seemed to decide the winner, or atleast who died. I spent the last 4 minutes trying to RoA kite a zone full of blackguard chargers, skeleton chargers, firedogs, and firebreathing snakes. Barely hit level 12 so I did get 4 points.

I really wish I didnt have that bs death in the 3 hour race. :/ would be at 16 points now instead of 8.

It was fun but extremely RNG dependant. My second zone was bonkers and so was my third zone so I basically skipped both lol. I died at lvl 17 50 mins in, had I not died I would have probably made top 15 or top 10. I got gangbanged by all types of damage, phys split archers, blue crit cold dmg and sparkers, I got instagibbed pretty much.

It was fun, but it shouldn't be a race for points, I would definitely enjoy it as some sort of alternative gamemode though, like an endless ledge up to lvl 100, that would be pretty fun and a massive timesink, but for points it's just too rng dependant, especially the mods monsters roll can be absolutely deadly.

What's the worst second zone anyone has seen in Endless ledge?

I ripped to a forest-ledge with Spitting Cobras+Tittybitches+Carrion Queens+...zombies? Okay, the zombies weren't much, but still. Come on. Then in my restart I got necros+alira exploders so it took ages. Oh well.

LOL I died 20!!! minutes in, remade and got to 16.5. I would have been on pace with the top 5 in my second run.

My first run was insane though. In my second zone I got leap goatmen, merveil daughters and bears. So annoying, there was nothing that was even remotely easy or time-efficient to kill. My second run was pretty nice, but my gear sucked hard.

Endless ledge is definitely fun but I feel the random zones make it unfair as hell.

I had something like that in my third zone. Titty bitches, rhoas and curtains. I only killed the curtains and went forrest gump on everything else.

I just got a demi in the one hour turbo at level 14. Guess no one in the whole race that picked witch got a cold gem wand/shield/sceptre/anything. Dropped to 25 or so hp versus a mob with ~30 seconds left for the yolo ice nova on a rare, but it was clearly worth it.

Thank you turbo gods for desyncing all the much better witch players.

Alas, the rolls of my demi suck. 10% all res, 24% rarity.

That might have been the race I got 4th Witch after rerolling 10 minutes in.

Really don't understand how the duelist that got first gained on me that much. I found 2 uniques, the claw that I used to kill brutus with (had 100 dps dualstrike on him with it) and silverbranch bow that I couldn't use anyhow. I'm guessing he got the -magic find sword + movespeed boots or something similar.

I think he was almost 2 levels behind me when I first started farming sins, guess it didn't help that I was a bit indecisive in the end and kinda wanted to progress, then I looked at the timer and even if I somehow could kill Vaal which I doubted since all my items were shit, and I accidentally leveled my hatred aura so I couldn't un-equip my cold res int ring.

Ended up trying to farm western in the end, I think if you have decent fire res (30+) it's better than sins1 after a while since it's lvl 21 there and the only mobs that really hurt are the exploders and the general guarding the exit.

Killed merveil at roughly 37 minutes, which is new personal best for me. And she dropped a rare cleaver, was so happy. Until I Identified it and it had +1 melee gems 16 lightning res, 10 strength and some lightning radius roll... Funny enough I ended up having to use it until the end since I never found any better weapon

lol I was actually supposed to meet someone at the pub so they kept calling me during the last 20 minutes of the race. I completely forgot that I was supposed to be there, so I finished the race (6th overall) and went full sprint.
