There needs to be a certain treshold the mob density can't go under. Giving people effectively empty zones so they can't level at all is just really unfair. | ||

No records were going to be set with that run anyways thoughDidn't find a health potion until skeletal caverns.. didn't find a mana potion until then either actually, and i misclicked a chest and didn't get clarity, lost quite a bit of time because of that. I ended up alching a bunch of ES gear so at least I had a buffer against mob damage with no ability to heal myself heh | ||

My damage lacked way too hard. 87 DPS leap slam isn't enough/good at lvl 20 (10 sek until lvl 21). @ above me: No, you beat deansy, you're first ranger. Or the official site has it wrong. Poestatistics has it like you say. | ||

I don't remember what it feels like to not full clear Skeletons + Dischargers + Ribbons + Hall to get 21. I dinged 21 on the last exile at the last second. | ||

They really, like I said, need to set a treshhold, it shouldn't be possible that some players get totally empty zones which makes it impossible for them to leve, that's just a retarded game mechanic. | ||

Seething or bubbling flasks will do more for a run than nearly any item if you ask me, since the whole point is to just run in and facetank things, you can do it alot safer with instant flasks. Id hazard that your dps isnt overall that important, if you cant remove additional attacks from kills then it is entirely wasted. Mob RNG does play a huge role in descent though, getting champions at the right spots can make all the difference in the world, if they truly want a more balanced race experience they should make every mob white, or have fixed amount of champs per zone. | ||

That or remove the XP penalty in Descent races entirely. This way people might actually finish the damn thing. @LagLovah, one of the most useful stat for RoA is life on hit, since you routinely hit 10 mobs per attack. That and lightning resist is all you need for Ranger. Sure HP is fine, but as you said, pots and faster/instant pots are much more important. Then you alch a +20% Buckskin tunic and you're set. | ||

I don't remember having found many uniques anyway, I know I've found Quill Rain before and maybe 2 that I don't remember. In Descent that is. Also I agree mob density is a big factor. My skeleton level today pretty ok. The discharger level was pretty empty and the Ribbons level was the hell... I almost died there. I didn't like it, barely any Ribbons and a lot of Flame Sentinels and the Lightning dudes. | ||
