I'll prolly check cleave builds unless I find something that's more fun, even at the cost of being less effective. Too bad this discharge crap seems super item dependent. T_T

T_T Don't go discharge you'll regret it. Go for a cleave or sporker build. I'm running a LA/Frenzy ranger that's just fine for farming and not item dependent, at least for non maps.

Is it because it's so item dependent or why exactly? :o I wonder if there are pure elemental witch builds that work decently enough and are fun to play, that one new spelldamage keystone alone is laughing at me. Tho dual totem is probably strictly better. T_T e: Things I've done already and don't want to repeat if possible include: -Dual totems in various variations with/without EE. -Minionstuff -LA stuff -Power-/Frenzy-Volls ranger If only I'd like to play melee. :/ e2: Hmmm.... detonating dead sounds fun too. Its just not the most efficient way to go there from templar compared to witch. The other way to do it is to do the CI dual totem build and level with LMP or GMP freezing pulse, its alot slower than the cleave route, but less regrets are used to switch into damage than from the templar side of the tree. Its quite easy to level as ele cleave or leapslam mara to mid 60s safely, then just go into whatever your desired build was originally. What killed your 1800hp duelist anyways? What'd a leveling build look like for that? I thought you typically leveled as Freeze Pulse with that build. My death was ultimately caused by bad play. I'd just tried making the switch from Cleave to Cyclone to see if it'd help make things easier. I ended up attacking into a pack that was too large. I popped some Flasks and a Granite, but I ended up dying anyway. I saw the death screen for a split second after I hit logout. My whole HP bar disappeared in about two seconds, which is really dumb considering I had 1800 HP and capped fire resist (I think dogs was the majority of the damage, and I don't think they were even champs). Also is Electric Warp any good? the long cast time and delay on it make it almost useless imo; but it's sort of fun to use. Also; is there anyway for totem to go up in health other than that passive point that gives +22% health.

Lightning Warp is good for positioning/mobility, but I wouldn't use it for damage.

Was thinking of playing again until I watched Kripp playing that discharge build, and quickly changed my mind. Only thing I wonder, is if this king of thing is basically Working As Intended to make the player feel invincible, or just in need of balancing? I know fun is subjective, but reading through some of the replies... just does not compute. Meh don't mind me, just enjoy spectating foreign concepts and attempting to understand lol.

Kripp has already died at least twice in the new onslaught league. Invincible certainly isn't the case.

Are those stats enough for merciless Vaal? I feel like my single target dps is really lacking, but the problem is I can't get my hands on a good 5l chest i can afford. Frenzy/LA/BM ranger lvl 61.

Killing Vaal is just a matter of knowing the patterns. Practice on cruel if you're scared. DPS is useless. The vaal fight is entirely based on not getting whacked and poking him down.
