Best way to get currency is to alch maps and run IIR/IIQ gear. The quantity bonus from maps multiplies your normal quantity. So you have (100% quantity base + 100% from gear)*200% from map = 400% of the drops. I also have alched over 500 belts/onyxes/prismatic rings. I make the +20 stat onyxes using the onyx recipe. Then I sell it in my shop.

Everything you kill with it will not trigger any IIR and IIQ. A known bug without a fix thus far (or i missed that fix). edit: ah no i got that wrong. http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/178416 says that Burning damage just doesn't work with support gems with IIQ and IIR.
I use culling strike + split arrow + IIR/IIQ gems anyways.

Passive Tree
I am missing the thick skin HP nodes and the HP nodes beside them.

Thank you for posting the skill tree! Is using Elemental Equilibrium tedious?

Not really. My rotation is: Put down blind + split arrow + chain totem, EA x 5, flammability and lastly culling strike split arrow spam while stuff dies.
If the pack is small, I leave out the totem and my culling strike split arrow works fine to apply EE.
The blinding totem is really useful because it reduces all enemy's chance to hit by 75%. It alone can tank bosses that "attack" from 100% to 0. It also applies EE for me.

Great idea with blind mate! I will try this at once.

I am thinking of saving up and getting one of the $1000 unique item packs. My item would be this:
Hand of Midas, (Shagreen Gloves/Vaal Gauntlets) 8-12 attack speed 24-30 chaos res Gems in this item are supported by level 20 item quantity, item rarity, and culling strike.
Would allow me to run my explosive arrow build with Alpha's howl, 4 40% auras, etc. I would have blind, split arrow, blood magic, and chain in my Hand of Midas. I would use a 20% quality decoy totem + totem and minion resistance instead of split arrow totem.
EDIT: Idk it is probably too good. Maybe make it have the "You are unlucky when mobs hit you" affix on it. That would certainly make it balanced. I might even be able to add something else onto it if that affix was on it. Maybe + 15% quantity.

See my edit. Yes it is a 7L, but it has no defensive stats and the 7 link isn't an offensive 7 link. Something like weapon elemental damage + melee physical damage + faster attacks would be completely broken because the support gems multiply eachother. None of the extra supports on this item would be multiplicitive with other supports. It would also be extremely rare. I'd love for some suggestions for drawbacks.

If you look at the other gems that allow for "extra" useful gems, (Mostly referring to the Howl and a couple others), they are some of the most OP and useful items in the entire game. I dunno. I'm not into game breaking uniques.

Well the obvious drawback is to throw in negative resists like Andvarius rings. Say -24-30 chaos resist instead of positive, but what fun is that? All attacks against the wielder are criticals would make the game pretty entertaining too.

All hits being crits would require some lowering of the multiplier in it or would be every rare two shotting you(which is ok on most, but not the fast ones and sme of the ranged ones)

The idea is that you'd only use it to farm low level areas. The unique serves a niche instead of being god tier.
Of course, you could be a badass and do some item swapping. Vaal <10% time to swap oh shit rocks are falling ^_^ muhaahahahahaha

Unlucky/lucky cannot change a crit into a hit and vice versa. Only reroll the damage as if it were a hit/crit. It has the most impact on lightning damage since that goes from like 1-800 in some cases. It would still be a pretty major drawback, especially against bosses such as piety. (I would have to unequip them for that boss 100%)
I am also thinking the model would actually be "Midas's" hand, skinned.

I am also thinking the model would actually be "Midas's" hand, skinned. Depends on what the unlucky attribute is applied to. On the unique that created lucky/unlucky, the trait is specifically applied to damage rolls, but it could easily be applied to crit or hit rolls if you designed it that way.

Hardcore needs more high level PvP action! Come queue for 1v1. I played vs Kripparian a few times and lost, but I learned a lot and I think I stand a chance now.
Also I am throwing out the idea of the unique gloves. I like adapting to the game, not changing it.

If anyone is interested I'm currently streaming myself leveling up a wander as practice for the new race. Although the build is going to be a wander I'm cleaving till about level 60 most likely.

Has anyone else noticed how easy it is to solo with dual totem (incinerate-spell totem) and frost wall? It seems like no one really uses frost wall, but man it seems good for staying alive against most things (and keeping totems alive, too).

These patch "notes" are quite juicy. So much good stuff in them. Love the new Anarchy league, loot allocation and most balance changes. The new orb seems pretty OP, and should fetch a couple exalts. Too bad it's summer and PoE isn't exactly high on the list of things to do these days. But October is a perfect time for the next 4 months league and Act 3.5 =)

Anarchy league is a pretty cool idea although I would like it if the enemy adventurers you face were based on builds from other real players.

Might have to comeback and play a bit in that new patch, looks awesome.
