92% IIQ Vulnerability -23% max resists Monsters fire 3 additional projectiles +75% monster cold resist Unique boss deals +30% damage and attacks 25% faster Crypt is a copy of Fellshrine, yes? I'm not sure if it's a good idea to run this beast. I have only about 7,500 armour and 4,400 life (resists are capped with Endurance Charges). I'm EK and have a Skelly Totem, so the boss buff and the cold resist mods don't really do anything, since the boss is a melee skeleton. My other maps are 2 Dungeons, 2 Overgrown Ruins, an Arsenal, and a Wharf. Blarg. | ||

It's easy for a hard map because it's closed area, a lot of rooms to lure a bit and kill. It may be hard if you roll skeletons & necromancers but exploding totem/detonate dead will help in such cases. You can surely clean it but beware of monsters who shoot additional projectiles stacked as one (you see one flying but it's 4) like alchemists/pyromancers or dogs. They can kill you instantly (if crit) but that's no reason to back off from trying at least. Leave the map if you'll think it's too hard. Also as long as it's not your last map you can just leave it for later/run in a party. I think the mods are very nasty but I would probably run that in 66 now. | ||

[Edit] Followup question: How difficult is post-buff Lunaris? I've gained a few hundred HP and about 700 armour since I (easily) completed it pre-buff. Oh yes, and my Flask setup: Bubbling of Heat, Seething of Grounding, Ample Quicksilver of Adrenaline, Ample Granite of Warding, Avenger's Granite of Iron Skin. Covers pretty much all the bases. All are 20% quality, of course. | ||

P.S. Sorry for all the newfag mapping questions. Despite playing a ranged build with CS Bear Traps and insane survivability, I don't want to die to something really stupid after finally making it through Merciless and not dying to desync or lag. [Edit] Just did that crazy Crypt map pretty damn easily. But... with 92% IIQ... it dropped zero maps. THANKS, OBAMA. :| | ||

The scope of this patch doesn't include the more complex changes to the action prediction system, but will hopefully prevent deaths by resyncing more aggressively when needed. Some secret awesomeness that I'm not able to reveal just yet. It's bigger than the other changes in the patch. | ||

I also kinda doubt it's Act 3.5, since they said the game would come out of beta soon after the extension is released, and the goal for that was roughly September, if I remember correctly. But I can't really think of anything else that's remotely plausible. Well, fingers crossed anyways. Edit: On second thought, he says it's the "second phase" of open beta, so maybe it's Act 3.5 after all. | ||
