Even then it is still kinda questionable though because I doubt your other gear is good enough for it to be worthwhile. | ||

 It is much less effective then Cleave with same setup but somehow fun :D I been clearing normal docks with it and only had problems against blue/yellow voidbears like all melee. But I really do expect it to be more viable as I level and take all needed passives and 2x claws with decent base crit. | ||

For less then 6L I would love to be able to get rid of Mana Leech, it just wastes one spot (I would use Blind or Increased Crit Damage instead there). BTW with Blind reflect damage is even less dangerous :D I don't even mind using mana flasks, just that without leech I am not sure I would be able to keep mana flasks full. The biggest problem with Cyclone is same as for Whirling Strike: desync. And not the one that kills you but one where you pass through enemies and you do not damage to them. Mana spent, life lost, but no damage to leech life or mana But I keep playing each day during races and it seems game has more problems with lag and desync then. | ||

Well, mostly it was that I hit merciless and hadn't re-maxed my resists so my cold was like 50% and I ran into a multi-projectile rare merveil's chosen in a tight tunnel, then didn't react properly because I thought I could tank it. Too many close calls previously had kinda inured me to the danger so I played dumb. Really I should have made an effort to re-gear for merciless (a decent amount of my gear was from early cruel/late normal), but 55 seems like such an awkward time to re-gear because you are so close to being able to use all that end-game lvl 60 stuff Yah me neither | ||

I also read on the PoE forum that the mobs in Lunaris temple with Unrighteous Fire are also great and don't cause lag. What are you guys using? edit: On the recent topic: I didn't find any Divines or Exalteds O_o Although i have 4 chars on Merciless | ||

 Apparently blesseds are also really rare and I found 2 but they are pretty useless I suppose I've found 3 GCP's so far out of random pots/crates that I blow up, so I can't complain too much. | ||

You're still a bit short at that level if you want to use ilvl 72/73 stuff, but a lot of the endgame jewelry only rolls ilvl60 resists which means you'd be able to use it. | ||

Not sure I'd bother dropping the extra currency to get a higher level one, but you might like some of the additional mods you can pick up. Not actually good but again I didn't want to spend for an upgrade. Oftentimes you'll get better gains from transmuting/altering some random pieces you pick up. In your situation for instance an onyx would be really easy to roll an upgrade. The belt would also be pretty easy probably. You need to be willing to replace ok'ish pieces for net gains. Dropping some alterations while you're leveling up is cheap and effective. Don't be afraid to drop currency on an 18 or 19 onyx either. Unless your build is that precise on the stat caps, chances are the gains are marginal at best. | ||
