like, is there something comparable to a rune-list? also - i wanna know the reason why exalt-orb is worth as much as it is - it was pretty obvious in diablo 2 - runes are good for powerful runewords, and rarer runes usually lead to more powerful items / they simply are rarer :D | ||

As to for why it's worth that much...? You can take a white item with great sockets/links, transmute it to magic, use alterations till you get a good roll, Regal it to get it to rare (+2 properties) and if your stats on the item are STILL good you can use exalt to add +2 properties once more. It's the only way to craft the very best items pretty much. On another note, merciless is where this game starts to get interesting. Everything is scary, people are friendly and pub parties get rare. I'm scared of Merveil despite 79% cold res. o.o | ||

Exalt/Divine/Regal values are not so concrete. However, if you ask for some exchange rate on global trade chat which deviates from these rates you will know it immediately (you will be flooded with people thinking they are 'ripping you off' or you will be yelled at by people thinking you are trying to rip other people off). Exalted orbs are very uncommon, and useful because if you have a good rare with less than 6 properties which dropped/you've rolled using more common currencies (chaos/alch/regal) then you can make it strictly better than it was. | ||

This means they have a "set" value, and are more or less stable in value. http://en.pathofexilewiki.com/wiki/Vendor_Recipes#Direct_Purchases_from_Vendor Orb rarity also plays a large role. Some orbs - a chaos, for instance - drop less than transmutation orbs. So naturally, they have a higher value. Finally, the use of orbs (and consequently, the demand for the orb) vary in utility. An exalted allows you to add a new property to a rare item, which is insanely useful. Thus, it has a high inherent cost. There are sites like poeex that attempt to quantify orb values, but you should use it only as a guideline. It's important to remember that the trading system is entirely barter-based, so nothing has a truly concrete value. Edit: Kripparian has a video on quality gem value somewhere on his youtube channel if you want to look into that as well. | ||

As long as you have a build with some sort of leech in it, you can just come up to melee/mid range and avoid her ice crits. Ohter than explosion spawns nothing else is super threatening | ||
