Hi everybody, just want to share this little Flash game that I made with everybody. It is sort of a cross between Tetris and Go. I figure it is something that people here at TL might enjoy having a go at. You can find it here: http://www.void.net.nz/gominoes.html.
You can also find instructions on how to play at the main page: http://www.void.net.nz, but it's pretty straight forward, the controls are the arrow keys and the space bar, plus you can press the F key to go to fullscreen mode.
There's no site-wide highscores, just personal ones, mostly because I looked into it and it's almost impossible to stop people from just cheating and didn't really want to deal with that, however feel free to post your own highscore in this thread. For reference my best score is 1,340,968 and level 11. I'm sure someone here will have that beat in no time though.

It's pretty well made.
I tried that splat game too, was funny how after about 10 turns I somehow started this chain reaction that took over the whole board in one go.

Cheers for the positive feedback. Yeah, ChaSplat is all about setting up a massive chain reaction that wins the game, while avoiding letting your opponent get there first. It is actually based on a game I played years ago, possibly called Chainreaction or something similar. I think it was on the Acorn computer, so that tells you just how long ago that was

Haha yeah I guess the name is a little deceiving. GoTris just doesn't roll off the tongue as well though

Yup, it's supposed to be hard. I figured that would actually be a plus for many people on this site (having seen a number of posts complaining that games are often too easy these days). Each game also doesn't take very long, making it perfect to play when you just have a few minutes to spare.

Shit I thought it was like lumines or something because I got lucky once and it looked like a square got removed xD
It's pretty fun, I still like tetris more though :D
