Like all new games apparently, only if you have been playing the old one for 10 years. I started with CSS, and after hearing how "amazing" 1.6 was in comparison, I tried to switch, but just couldn't do it, it just felt so old, clunky, and just meh. I never could get into it like i did with CSS. Same with HoN/DotA, DoD/DoD:S etc. etc. The old ones only feel better if you've played the crap out of the original first. The one "original" game I did play extensively was Halo:CE, and after that the new ones felt like crap to me. But that doesn't mean I feel the need to act all high and mighty when someone talks about how fun Halo X is, because, "the original was far superior".

I say we make blue server a gungame/DM server. Is there a way to program it so that it rotates between the two? Monday is DM, Tuesday is Gungame. Etc?

Red server is all we need for the time being imo. I'd save the money to just make sure the re server stays up and then for a private eventaully.

Trying to populate it right now but people only seem to join on D2 and then it just dies out

I noticed something odd ever since I got all the games of CS a few days ago that almost everytime I try to get on it knocks my internet out totally for up to six or seven minutes and it wont let me in servers sometimes on CS:S that it has before. Also on 1.6 basically everytime I try to get into a server it knocks my internet out and it won't ever let me into any server at all I've only managed a couple games so far on 1.6. I have never seen this problem before and I have good internet and a great computer so whats the deal with counter strike/steam? Is there a way to fix this because if not I'm afraid I'm going back to Sudden Attack since I can always play on there all day every day (and it's free). :/

It's been a while since I've last played CSS but I am really trying to find new pro gaming news. Hitting up gotfrag showed previous esports news from 2008 and I really wanted to know if anyone has sites dedicated to CS:S pro gaming news and hopefully streams of new matches with casting of course. If anyone could help, it would be awesome.

Yeah dm would be really nice I agree deanyo, especially when I'm drunk like today or just wanting to shoot stuff and don't have the focus for standard CS it would make me very happy.

I hate not having many people to play with it's normally like 2v2 or 2v3 and not many more are on so people start getting on there more often! ^^ Oh and add me on steam too my names are all in my sig area atm I think its Whipporwill, I need more steam buddies I only have like 4 since I'm new to it.
