I do care. I didn't just start caring now, either, it was something that I saw as aesthetically bankrupt when I was 15 and wincing at what was happening in SF2 as it moved past Champion Edition. I just realize it's not going to change anytime soon, mainly because of attitudes like this.

^^ That's not really the comparison to make, porkRaven. The whole aesthetical physique thing is a bit of a separate (non-)issue, imo. The reason some people have sjw-ish knee-jerks to these designs isn't (or at least shouldn't be) just R. Mika as-is, or Cammy's semi-legit battle-getup having a thong, but goes beyond that to broader things, outside just the SF series or what those kotaku articles said. Besides, SF has characters like Makoto who rep the other end of the spectrum and blahblah #isthisreallyanissue etc. Wrong thread to debate it in. I promise not to feed the convo anymore.

Nothing wrong with hating the waifu-designs for whatever reason, tho.

A3 Mika looked ass-tier (huehuehue...) from what I found, but with a cool grappler concept. Hopefully she's gonna be workable in 5. Maybe I should toy with A3 while I'm waiting for 5 to drop. Not like I'm gonna play Ultra anyway (back on topic!)..

Any idea where/when the next character reveal could potentially happen?

I actually don't think there's much point to playing previous games even to get a feel for returning characters since they're fundamentally changing so much in SFV. Chun is completely different, so is Nash, so is Bison, so is Birdie. Even Ken and Ryu have pretty significant changes.

I'm glad they made a grappler, r mika looks like a run char to play but i hope they will still make a traditional 360 spd char. Maybe those types of grapplers are a thing of the past for streetfighter?

I remember I felt a bit embarrassed when I was showing SF4 to my 9yr old sister and my dad was there too. She wanted to try, of course she instantly picks Cammy and starts a fight. Cammy starts to show off her ass in the pre-game intro, my dad's like: okaay....nice game you got there.

So I don't mind a good-looking girl in a game (ibuki <3, rose, c.viper, chun), but I don't like cammy, poison, mika. And I think these characters get in the way of a game being taken seriously by outsiders (that fgc esports money, guys).
