There doesn't seem to be any info about streams or whatever, but I hope they have a non-niconico option available this time. Should be a pretty sick tournament with every player worth anything in Japan attending (plus some good foreigners). | ||

It's a long and annoying story, but basically drama happened and a bunch of subs (including most of the defaults) went private for a time to show solidarity and protest actions taken by Reddit administration. From max/three-fourths screen distance, the slide is manageable by just throwing fireballs and the only way he's going to get through is with EX run which burns a bar. If he does have EX on standby, you can throw fake fireballs with s.lp or the HK~HK feint to bait him into an unsafe slide. You're not going to be able to keep him out forever, so your best close quarters option is to c.lp xx Low Tiger Shot or s.mk if he's a little further away to make his c.lks whiff. You're going to be blocking and attempting throws a lot but you can often get a feel for how frequently the Guy player presses buttons and reversal DP out of it. When we are in neutral positions it's pretty okay for me, it's when they get me in the corner I have big trouble. In particular, when they do a blockstring into run/stop. What would be my best option at that point? Crouchteching is suicide and DPing usually doesn't end well. Blocking usually leads to the same position again, or me getting thrown. c.lp into LTS is the only option I feel safe doing, but I usually don't get much out of it. Bon-chan seems to either convert c.lp xx LTS into something bigger and thus getting out, or reading a button and DPing. I was honestly hoping there would be an easier way  | ||
