not taking sides, but personally i think coaching during tournaments is pretty dumb. i guess u could say that the other person could have a coach too, but i dunno, i always thought of fighting games as a 1v1 thing, kinda like starcraft.

I sort of agree, partly because of the 1v1 aspect and partly because having them slows the pace down. Long breaks between individual games in sets because the player and coach are talking at length about what just happened.

But I'm not actually that bothered, and I don't really mind. I'd probably abstain from voting if it came to that.

Too bad. Strider played so good this tournament and has been for while now.

Argh!

Grats to Kazunoko, but I wish Strider hadn't just collapsed. That's why I was rooting for PR Rog earlier.

Great tournament, kind of an anticlimatic finals.

congrats to Kazunoko

as much as I wanted to see PR ROG or Strider take this, Kazunoko has been hungering for this one for a long time coming too

not to hate on MKX, but man, those people who hyped up MKX as the game that should be the ending game for tournaments are just dumb, there is no amount of hype that can over take a sf4 tournament with internationals. pretty sure the novelty of that game is already wearing off.

MKX seems like a fine game and it okay to watch. I even got hype during one match when I picked up the oki that one guy was doing. For me it seems to be more interesting and less random than it was previously but I don't really play at all. Don't think it'll topple sf ofc.

Omg, Dieminion's entrance vs Bonchan was AMAZING, but I think K-Brad's edged him out. Holy fuck I love these entrances.

Here are KBrad's and Dieminion's entrances by the way, since everybody is talking about em lol

Both hilarious and unexpected in their own way. Too good.
