apparently steam is trying to piss off potential pc sf4 players as much as possible right now. Lame =/
I think the only ps3 sf4 tournament Ive played in was seasons beatings, not that it really changes anything. The only time problems arise is when tournament organizers don't declare and stick with whichever system they choose to run on. SF4 is identical between systems, don't let any troll tell you otherwise.
Marvel 3, on the other hand, should be played exclusively on 360. PS3 has crazy slowdowns and framerate drops, which can be made significantly worse depending on the stage. I'm honestly shocked every time we see a major running ps3 marvel, and I feel bad for the players.

33% discount on PC Version on SteamStore. Finally I will be playing SF again, stopped playing it because of Blazblue.

Or any PS3 Madcatz TE if you have windows XP still. It's the nvidia chipset on some motherboards that causes the PS3 version not to work. It has nothing to do with the edition of windows you are running.
More specifically it has to do with the nvidia chipset on 64 bit processor. I just say windows 7 to be safe since you MIGHT AS WELL get a 360 stick and not eve have to worry about if you have the right chipset or not, and if you do then i may as well generalize, better safe than sorry...

I saw it and felt disgusted...I don't think I'm going to do what you're doing, I'd rather wait until the actual release date.

Steam 33% was probably an error because original SF4 has a 33% discount now. They probably put it on the wrong street fighter

All capcom games are except SSFIV. So it probably wasn't supposed to be applied to unreleased titles. Still unlucky for me, I could have gotten it at that price.

Bought it for US$ 27,00 today. Think I got lucky.

Apart from tournament streams the only two street fighter streams that I know of are PJs and Shoryuken Live. I could also use a few recommendations for good streams.

I picked up a Zangief Fightpad (the official ones that are like Saturn controllers) for £12 in HMV yesterday. They also had 2 for £30 on other designs. I'd check out places like that. In stores they're trying to clear the stock so they're cheap but online they're in high demand so the prices are higher.

Damn. Would have loved to buy SSF4AE for PC @ 27. Will probably end up getting the 4 pack because I don't want to pay 40US$ -____-

Thanks for the stream recommendations! I watched PJs stream pretty much all day. I hope with the release of AE for PC there will be more streams popping up.

the warpprism stream website has also added a Fighting section to it to accommodate the influx of streams for fighting games.
|
The big tournament streamers are all on gamescast.tv as well, when they're online they'll pop up there and you can switch between streams but warp prism does offer the PiP feature.

can the ps3 version madcatz controller be used on pc? i'm looking on amazon.uk and i noticed that the cheaper ones are all for ps3. i don't care about the graphic on it. i also have the 360 wired pad, but i tried to play with it and i didn't find it comfortable at all.
