just to warn you guys

leveling to 70 for a resistance ring was not worth it. The damage change was minimal and it was a huge waste of time T_T

I also heard potential rings might be released in chaos patch

so...yeah dont do it

Well the 2x helped out today. I didnt make it to 70 but it shouldnt take to much longer.. it was crazy at scarecrows. KS FEST.

the resistance ring is worth it. dont listen to him. you will not get another chance to get that good of a ring for minimal work.

yes you won't get another chance to do it. But it's not "minimal" work. At least not for me, I had a bad time trying to level a char to 70. Besides, potential rings are coming out with chaos patch which will replace it. I guess it depends on how much time you have on your hands

Levelling an imba character to 70 is easy as hell, getting +3 atk on the other hand is expensive, time consuming and often risky, it's definitely worth it.

it's minimal work on Demethos where the majority TL'ers are playing. chaos is probably going to be in the summer anyways.

oh i forgot you can do it with mechanics too

i was doing it on my wild hunter and it wasn't fun

it only takes 3 days for a person to get to level 70? some of you guys over-exaggerate how fast you can get to level 70. Sure it's a lot easier after BB, but it takes more than 3 days (assuming you play a few hours per day)

edit: what I just said doesn't apply to Mechs because I know they're imba

Jesters at 2x exp was insane, I think I saw a total of 30 people pass through my channel, and this was at toy room. Some n00b dk even tried to ks me for 30 minutes, but alas, he started with buster and was only getting around 30% of the exp.

If it's a Friday + weekend then yeah, 3 days to 70 isn't too much of a stretch. I'm getting 15 minutes per level in the mid 50s with my WH, and I remember getting 30%+/10mins on my BaM in the 80's. Extrapolating from this we can assume you get more than 2 levels per hour all the way from 50-70, maybe on average close to 3 levels. That's 6 hours for 50-70. And 1-50 is a joke. It's definitely doable although you waste your whole weekend doing it.

So yeah, hyperbole, fine, but not that far off.

Also, Mechs.

You guys level so freakin fast. I got from 63 to 66 during 2x and thought I was doing pretty damn well zz. Planning on getting SaNyang to 70 for ring, otherwise all the time I spent on her would be totally useless..

2x is making me not want to play except during 2x.. I'd log on right now but I'm thinking.. why bother when I can do everything twice as fast later lol.
