Hesitating between monoB, BW control, and burn. I have experience with the 3 lists but a bit more with monoB. What would you guys suggest ? WBR burn control - blightning, stone rain, molten rain, chandra's phoenix, path, bolt, helix, thoughtsieze, slaughter games, sin collector, tidehollow sculler
[this is a horrible list, dont try it]

I've been testing a WBR control/midrange deck with Blood Baron, Whipzedat, Elspeth, and Stormbreath as closers, 4 main angers and a shitload of removal/thoughtseizes. It's worked out pretty well against mono u and mono b, over 50% against WB midrange, but really bad against burn or any deck that has burning earth in it.
Currently trying Warleader's Helix in the main as some incidental lifegain to offset shocklands + thoughtseize and burn decks.

Havent even seen Fated Retribution. Still think its worse than Planar though in most match ups. Right now in the Underworld Connections decks ( B, WB, BUG and Junk) they try to lean on that card in most post wrath scenarios wherrr we have like 6 plus mana.
The darksteel ingots are interesting because of 2 reasons, its a better play than divination on 3 in some matchups. Turn 3 ingot means 5 mana on 4 where I can wrath and bait them into PC the next turn, or I can divination and use a spot removal or cycle and still bait them into a PC.
This deck taps out more often than not and usually comfortably wins off of Mutavault.

I'm talking standard yeah, but I lack a few cards for this list, so I'm not considering it. It's good for sure, but it's not like it was unfairly better than other lists, so I won't get cards to build it.

This is my W/G aggro list. + Show Spoiler +4 Soldier of the Pantheon 4 Dryad Militant 4 Voice of Resurgence 4 Fleecemane Lion 3 Loxodon Smiter 3 Banisher Priest 4 Brimaz, King of Oreskos
2 Ajani, Caller of the Pride
2 Advent of the Wurm 4 Selesnya Charm 4 Brave the Elements
4 Temple Garden 4 Temple of Plenty 8 Plains 6 Forest
I'm thinking of swapping Dryad Militant out for Precinct Captain. Thoughts? If I do this, should I also swap Advent for Spear of Heliod? TBH, I initially tried Spear over Ajani, and I didn't like it. It was either a win more card or extremely underwhelming. It's good in mirror and aggro vs aggro, but my matchup for that is already good and my sideboard is already equipped for it. I think without Spear buffing Precinct Captain tokens, he would still be a card with good value.

GP Richmond could have over 3000 people... that's crazy.

Played UW devotion at Game Day, went x-1 and missed the top 4 cut on breakers :< Felt like I wanted more non-creature permanents to power Thassa/Ephara through Verdicts and such. Thassa was insane as usual and Ephara was quite good. Not entirely sold on the white splash, as the UW and aggro matchups felt a bit worse and the green matchups felt exactly the same. Black matchup probably improves but I didn't play any games against black decks that didn't involve them mulling to 5 or missing land drops.
That said, if you played mono-blue before BNG then the UW version is a fine choice. The rise of RGx means only good things for the deck imo.

I'm thinking of buying my standard deck on MTGO. Is there any way to buy in bulk to get it cheaper or anything I should know to save me a few bucks?

Not really. The bots have pretty standardized prices, but you mostly just type in what you want and find the lowest one. There are websites that track pricing, but in my experience, they collect data too slowly to be of any use. Any big bargains get jumped on immediately for arbitrage.

It sounds like you don't need any help.

UWx isn't exactly playing out a bunch of targets for Dsphere, monoblue already has Bident. Probably want a Jace somewhere in the 75 if there's a lot of control in the metagame. Probably want a Bident in the main as well, maybe over an Ephara.
Also the manabase is a definite downgrade from monoblue. I do think Ephara is powerful enough that it works out but it's not a free splash or anything.

Vraska uses +1, decisions were regretted.

I still remember when the Zendikar fetches were considered budget fetches for Blue Legacy decks. Sheesh. So glad I got my playset when they were $20.
I think it's getting to the point where some of the good Legacy decks are cheaper than Modern decks lol

Tell me about it. I just got a set of cryptic commands at $40 each, because i chose to invest in modern a month too late. Fuck me. At least I didn't get them at $50, and I got my snaps at $18...
