In a couple hours. But first, now that I have batman out, any good suggestions on spots to quickly level up my party? Its mostly between level 24-26 now, I'm thinking I want them at least at 30 for the steel gym, or however much isnt overkill.

Btw, I'll do the bug thing tomorrow, since its open on thursdays and today is wednesday. Or if im still updating when its past midnight (its 7pm now and i'll start in a couple hours) then I'll just finish it then. I dont wanna fuck with the time on my emulator, feels too much like cheating which I've done enough of by getting the trading evolution

Go for the path north of Cianwood (leading to te safari zone). If you explore enough you should find patches of grass with fearow and the like. If you specifically wanna train attack EVs a good place is the patch of grass south of Ecruteak with Stantler, Growlithe and Pidgeottos.

My hope is to level them at a pace such they wont simply roll over and die against gym leaders, but at the same time not so overpowered that I can destroy entire gyms without ever switching out

Well, Jasmine does have 2 x L30 Magnemites and 1 x L35 Steelix, but considering that you do have a type advantage w/ FBH, it shouldn't be a problem. I'd say at least L28, but L32 at most.

Don't learn it, I'd say put it on sucker punch otherwise but you will not be getting the double damage most of the time since gengar is fast, and it requires the user to receive damage first for the boost. :p

I believe sucker punch is a move that always hit first, like quick attack, and payback is move that does more damage if used after the oponet attacks? But I'm really not sure, didn't really do much in the newer versions. I would just ignore payback.
