Instead they have to convolute some strange story like they've got now because LoD tied up D2's loose ends. | ||

Also note that Diablo isn't really story driven, it's action first, story second. | ||

That is staggering ignorance. Ya. I'm with you Usnip. Obviously gameplay comes first, but I have played many, many games with great stories that have kept me coming back. This is ESPECIALLY TRUE for the RPG genre. The fact that Broodwar had such an awesome (top 5 video game story all time) story is proof to me that even with an unfriendly to good storytelling game type, Blizz could make something beautiful. This really should be easier for them to do with Diablo. | ||

Anything that starts with a P, haha, planescape torment, psychonauts, portal, portal 2 for example I didn't say anywhere this detracted from the game, but any idea that blizzard has a continued history of good writing is illusory | ||

But you can't compare things you add to make a MMO live longer and a game like D3 ou SC2. I agree that Brood War is better in the storyline than SC2 but it's not that bad tho. W3 and Frozen Thorn were damn good, and we have to wait the two expansions of SC2 to be sure. Also Blizzard can totally rely on their cinematics to tell their stories, even a bad story look awesome on CG :> | ||
