If you need to get close to kill him or his lanemate, you can do so, but expect to lose at least half of your max health in the process. As Jax, at level 6+ I can fight back against Garen- if he can harass me with his spin then run away, then it's a losing battle for me; if I can force a fight to the death with both of us starting at full health, I'll wipe the floor with him- he has painful burst damage / harassment in Decisive Strike + Judgment but his sustained DPS is crap. He completely dominates Jax (and other melee champions I expect) at low levels >< | ||
