With how spammable turtle / bear stances are, he's very hard to kill. Even Shen looks squishy compared to Udyr atm.

I hate the Nidalee pounce fix cause it sets a stupid precedent. skills shouldn't be able to be unaffected by CDR.

Kennen is binary. He can absolutely destroy but he needs a lot effort for it. All his skills have a initially worthless component - marks to nothing on their own but are "priced" as 1/3rd of a stun. He can dispense stuns like no one else but it´s REALLY hard to do.
He is like Warwick/Heimer/prebuff-Janna as in that the character is in concept viable but the Players that can handle them are REALLY rare.

I think he's a good champ. A friend of mine is great with him, and before you say "that's just the player," isn't that the test of a champ? How well good players play them?

the flame attack going from every 4 hits to every 3 is HUGE.
think of that as essentially taking udyr's damage to 75% since his best build is tanking and just allowing phoenix to do its natural DPS.
