http://www.nba.com/video/games/bucks/2009/12/16/0020900363_lal_mil_play2.nba/ Lol at the announcer "MISS IT!". Something I just noticed, shouldn't there be .1 or .2 seconds left? Not much time, but anything can happen, hah. And, watching it in real time, I could have sworn the fans were booing after Kobe nailed it but it seems the crowd actually erupted in cheers.

![]() His timing and footwork and just everything about his game has just gone to another level this year. As someone who studied/still studies basketball (from being a competitive player in hs) it's absolutely amazing for me to watch the things he does.

Interestingly, him + shannon brown almost have identical stats. Not only do they have really similar stats, their play styles are also really similar, and they play almost the same amount of minutes. I wonder what the personal dynamic is between them. It's also interesting because a lot of times they play together in the 2nd unit. I wonder for example in practice/out of game situations if they have some sort of rivalry / competition for minutes and stuff, or if they've developed some sort of "backup guard tandem" chemistry... that's something kinda neat to think about. Other notes about their bench, I wonder how Luke Walton is going to factor in once he gets back from injury. I mean right now they really have 0 backup 3, they're just shifting people around by playing either really big or really small (with Farmar, Brown, and Kobe playing the 1-2-3 and Odom at the 4)... Also it seems like they're probably going to end up trading Morrison+Vujacic at some point. The thought is that they need another solid PG, but do they really? Especially with Farmar and Brown playing pretty solidly, do they need a 4th small guard? Or do they maybe go for another 3... maybe someone like Rudy Gay in a package deal? It's pretty crazy to think that the Lakers are already ridiculously good and they actually have a few trade pieces that will allow them to make their team even better with a smart mid-season trade. Scary thoughts indeed for the rest of the league.
