In the mid 90's what I consider the golden age of PC gaming, there were so many different types of games, new experiments, and specialisation in specific aspects. There were games where a team of WRITERS were employed just to populate BOOKS in a game. Whereas nowadays, it is about licensing a graphics engine, build some levels, make a game..Eye candy, knee shallow.

there was a co-op 2d shooter game on it (like a third-person shooter i guess..)
you'd go from down to up usually (i think) instead of left-to-right, you each controlled one guy, i don't recall vehicles or anything .. just bullets. i'm pretty sure it was called revolution/uprising/something along those lines BUT upon googling, i could not find a match.. so that's why i need the name of the console we had so i can google all games for it..
