Yes hbox' style isn't all flashy, but it's still way, way better than anything i have seen in smash 4/brawl for example. But now I find Hbox vs. Armada/Mango/Leffen to be suuper entertaining. Not sure if the matchup's changed over time or if I've just learned to appreciate it. And of course this last finals set was one of the greatest of all time. | ||

Plus Plup finally delivers, dunno if it was with Fox mainly or not (can't find a wiki with the bracket unfortunately) but Gods sure are things of the past in Melee. I guess PP didn't participate? | ||

Plup did it with sheik ^^ and the finals was really close and exciting, you should definitely catch the vods. afaik PP had a bit of a regression because he pushed too hard when he started feeling well :/ | ||

Even if you dislike Hbox and Armada you should definitely check the GF out. Possibly one of the best Finals ever. 10 games. Storylines. Multiple sick clutches. It's a treat. | ||

man i always watch the hbox matches with a sad smile.. rooting against hbox breaks my liquidheart, but i dont realy enjoy the puff matches.. they are exciting for sure, but the playstyle of trading 1 or 2 hits aganist puff is so exhausting to watch.. i always pity the players who have to go through all this hell and then get rested on their last stock due to messing up the di once. makes it realy hard for me to cheer for hbox :/ gratz anyway, realy well played and well deserved. not without reason the only puff anywhere close to top 8. | ||

I don't dislike Armada haha, I don't even dislike Hbox (Puff is one of my best secondaries and I like playing it) it's just that we have seen these match ups so much already and I prefer Fox winning because it's the hardest character mechanically and possibly the flashiest. I just like the Leffen story and having him make the tourney feel more spicy. I'll catch the vods, Melee is probably the best esports for spectators there has ever been. Bo3 is still bad in melee but I guess since nobody got upset looking at the bracket it's fine for this time. (Mango vs Plup maybe?). Having a captain falcon only in the top 6 sure is interesting, beating Westballz :o. That's too bad for PP :/ him upsetting (having a good placing, since he is not expected to do well anymore) would have been great. | ||
