iSketch is a browserbased multiplayer game where you are given a word to draw, and the others players then have to guess what you're drawing - simple but really fun. Although drawing experience isn't needed, it does help.

The object of the game is simple. Each player gets a chance to draw a word which the other players will try to guess. You can play anytime for free, 24 hours a day!
Quickstart
Enter a game by clicking one of several themed rooms you'll see listed on the right side after logging on. As artist, drawing tools and a button to deliver hints will help you with your draw, while the rest of the players try to guess the word. At the end of a 10-round game, the highest-scoring player is declared winner and a new game starts.
You can check out the rules here http://www.isketch.net/instructions/rules.shtml, the most important one being: Do not write letters!
Yesterday the site was unstable, but it should be back up now.
Just join with your TL AKA + some kind of TL tag, and find the room "TL-Sketch" under "user created".

Edit: and blockles sucks, except for the first time I played, every time I try to play it doesn't load up. Then I always win because it's impossible to lose if there aren't any blocks falling. It's as if I've been accidentally hacking =/

I remember getting banned from iSketch a couple of years ago while playing with friends over ventrilo. The one drawing at the moment had something like an ironing board and I thought it was obvious what it was after he drew the first line. So apparently I was banned for being awesome.

Alright. We've totally got to make a Starcraft wordlist. According to the iSketch site, the wordlist must be at least 1500 words in length, which means we've got quite a bit of work to do! But I'll get it started for now, and it'd be nice if you guys could help me out. Also, please suggest changes to my list.

Is each entry allowed to be more than one word? High Templar, Dark Templar, Spawning Pool, etc. From playing the game and reading their guidelines, my guess is that they must be single, unique words.
If not, 1500 should be no problem. There are tons of things to include: maps, players, strategies, teams, gossip. SC basically has its own culture and community to back it up.

uh no there are plenty of rooms and wordlists that use multiple words
maybe we should divide people up to be in charge of strategy word list, TL word list, progaming word list, etc. ?

Worst case scenario is we could make a normal word list with 33% Starcraft terms. 1500 sure is a lot though, especially for a minimum requirement.

ok i added weapons, armors, skills, more progamers, nicknames, more maps and stuff. 540 lines minus about 70 comments gives ussss 470 words. well that's a start
if you guys wanna help out with like a strategy list or other suggestions or changes then post

Foreigners. Missing some more well-known progamers. Famous TL-er's. Unit speeches? Upgrades. Planets. Campaign characters. Build Orders.

Maybe even random well known phrases like "gg" "gosu" "hasu" "money map" "low money" etc.?

burst lasers is listed twice. Once as an upgrade, and again as a wraith's weapon.

ok so i added part of the TL staff (not sure if they approve or how to draw some of them :p) so far and rearranged some stuff
things with * in front are gonna be decided if it'll be on the list later
not sure if isketch lets you use brackets or symbols for an entry
put rankings under terran
and should probably categorize the campaign section into terran protoss or zerg related.

I've currently opened a room called "tl?"
can't figure out how to set a standard word list, so I'm using "verbs," but I keep getting things like "disparate"

If you want to help us add a new wordlist (a new language or theme) to iSketch, we would be happy to make new rooms available. What we need to start a new room is a simple textfile with words, one on each line.
A good way to make a new list is to start out with a big list of words and then strip unsuitable words from it. A good source of such lists is the ox.ac.uk ftp site which has about 20 different languages.
Another good dictionary resource is A Web of On-line Dictionaries with links for all major (as well as most minor!) languages in the world.
We require a list to contain at least 1500 word, otherwise repetitions will occur too often.
Mail your wordlists and/or questions to us!

They had over 700 with just BW, but now that we have SC2 and the SC2 campaign to pull from, it just might be doable

Edit: some of these seem kinda nuts XD dunno what all I can do in terms of cleaning up that list and making it doable, but remembering what the icon / graphic for "Particle Beam" is seems tough...not including the upgrades and unused heroes...
