 Midas. However, I dont think fantasy deserves to be mentioned in any report of SK-T1 dynasties, not yet. He is the one, for sure, to possibly take the SK name higher, but currently he has proved nothing except that he is good at playing prepared builds very well. We know that it was not his pure brilliance in the previous OSL but rather a brilliant planned attack on three maps.  Jaedong, who is his own master, displayed true virtuosity in the recent final by coming back from quite a mental deficit to play a perfect game no less and eventually destroy his terran opponent. That day the tyrant, Jaedong, defeated two legendary terrans and their lackey in one series. Utterly astounding. BoxeR and Oov are legends. Midas is a hero. fantasy is a young, well coached A+ Terran, at best. + Show Spoiler + | ||

boxers style is very disctinctive and cant afaik be compared to oov. boxer uses his insane (dropship) micro to harass like shit and thus gain a huge advantage for the midgame. he also frequently used cheese builds like bunker rushes. oov on the other hand is a solid, macro based player. at least what i saw of him he doesnt cheese much. so i dont know how boxer should have mentored someone who is focussing on his macro so much. i think much of this "oh boxer lost the OSL final to his student" story is exaggerated. ofc they will have played against each other a lot, will have spoken about bos, maps, strategies, other players. but thats it. i really cant imagine boxer standing behind oov, in one hand a piece of paper with a bo ("u r at 34 sup, third fac NOW! .. and watch ur scvs!"), in the other a towel and a bottle of o2 active. i read here somewhere that oov had beaten boxer like 3 times in a row before getting lured to SKT1 so to me its more like they were more or less equally good but still very different in style and each of them gained a profit from training with the other one, not only oov. t.t but yeah, fantasy seems to be the new terran skt1 hope. its funny how different terran players can be, fantasy-flash is a bit like boxer-oov to me t.t | ||
