Interview - Yooi: "It's the StarLeague that I've been dreaming about"
-This is your first advancement into StarLeague
▶The OnGameNet StarLeague is the reason why I became a pro gamer. I wanted to play StarCraft on that stage. I could take a step forward with the dream to win.
-Did the 17 hour bloodbath help.
▶I didn't really know during practice, but I got to see the location for the preliminaries at Yong-San for this tournament. I promised myself I would never go there again, and so my mind was set.
-You were excluded from the ProLeague entry
▶I don't really know the reasons. Still, it's fortunate that I can focus on just StarLeague. I would like to get into lots of tournaments, ProLeagues and individual leagues alike. Being busy is much better.
-Personally, what do you think is different in you.
▶Having a comfortable mindset allowed the games to work out well. Prior to the 17 hour bloodbath, I was really shaky. I can't reveal it in detail because it's a private matter, but recently something good happened. I think that also helped out my games.
-Any words on getting into StarLeague
▶After it became a round of 24, having the round of 16 as a goal became meaningless. However, the first goal is the round of 16. I will move towards victory step by step.
Interview - GGPlay: "I will run, only looking forward"
-Your advancement into StarLeague was difficult.
▶The last game went on for over 40 minutes. I think the difficulty in advancing made me happier when I finally advanced. I think it will stimulate my preparations for the ShinHan Bank StarLeague Season 3.
-You broke all the jinxes*
▶I found that after I arrived at the game location. So I wondered if I had to lose the first game. OnGameNet seems to have particularly strong jinxes. It's a relief that I broke all the jinxes.
-How was the situation for the last game.
▶Since Song Byun-Gu (stork) played boldly, I was at a big disadvantage. I prepared a lot for defense against an all-out attack but the attack never came. I thought I might tie. Especially when the 8 o'clock hatchery was destroyed, there were some uneasiness.
-You look unenergized.
▶Strangely, I feel drained of energy in my entire body. Playing a long game made it more difficult. I perspired more too.
-Isn't it the new residence syndrome.
▶I really like the new residence. The gaming environment is so well equipped that preparing for games is much better.
-If you advance to the round of 16 with 3 wins in the round of 24, will you still designate Oh Yeong-Jong (Anytime)?
▶As with season 2, my goal is the round of 8. I didn't really care about group designation for the round of 16. I just try my best in every game. I will run, only looking forward.
*this is a reference to his jinx that if he loses even 1 game in the dual tournament, he fails to advance to the StarLeague
Phew... this is by far the longest translation I've had to do. Two pro gamers in one thread~ ^^; There's a good chance I made translation/grammatical errors so please PM me if you see any. Please leave comments, criticisms, or suggestions for improvement. Thanks! infinity21 aka LoTuS.leaf
when i watch yooi games i'm always thinking "wtf that's SO many marines compared to the number of medics you have :O". haha, hope i can see this during this OSL too

Haha sorry. The original word was 혈투. 혈 (pronounced: hyul) means blood. 투 (pronounced: tu) means fight. The word means a fight that's so fierce that blood is everywhere... or something like that.
bloodbath: notably fierce, violent, or destructive contest or struggle taken from webster.com ^^;
The stork ggplay game was freakin nuts, thought stork had it in the bag at several points but ggplay worked some really nice magic. Yellow really played awful, I mean it was embarrassing, both games were easy rapes for his opponents yooi and stork. Him and reach really need to retire.
This group is pretty disappointing. Instead of getting the sexy zerg and my favourite young protoss we get a 2nd rate terran and a mediocre "I'll screw over a bunch of tosses in the groups and suck once I hit another matchup" zerg. So very lame.
He's one of the hottest progamers right now, look at HonestTea's top 30 post, look at the power ranking, watch his games.

Let it go Orome, you should know by now that Manablue just hates zerg players
Nice interviews, but Yellow's performance is really making me sad. He lost twice to TT last OSL and now he's sent back to prelims.. that sounds really bad.
Orome, try to read through other people's opinions and make some for yourself ok?
GGplay is a fine player, but personally, I'm not into him much.
Why? Well firstly, chut is right, I generally hate zerg players. Particularly those that make it their business to beat good tosses who are on a roll in a tournament.
But what are my real reasons? He hasn't had any big stage accomlishments, that ive witnessed. So good for him, he's a tight player. But the reason why he's "underrated" is because he hasn't won shit yet.
For crying out loud, I'm not even allowed to hate on punks that can't make it through quarter finals anymore? Get off my back.
One might've thought that quotes of most people on this website whose opinion is worth reading might tell you you're horribly wrong on this, but apparently not.
You do great things for this website with your reports, and I like reading them, but your understanding of progaming is poor.

Hehehe, I know~ My opinions are so good aren't they? ^_^_^_^_^_^
EDIT - I go from HT, one of the best units, to a scout at 4k posts. I'm a little sad about this.
Boys, he hasn't got past the quarter finals of any major tournament in his life.
One off proleague wins are cute, but they don't cut it in my book. My understanding of progaming is just fine, but rather than saying "GGplay is a skilled Zerg that's had midas syndrome and hasn't been able to fight his way to the end of a tournament" I prefer to say, "He sucks".
Please guys, off my dick. I've had to explain this a hundred times in a hundred threads and your petty whining and bitching is really starting to get on my nerves.
meanwhile, stork has never qualified for the quarterfinals of a major tournament in his life.
and you didnt simply say ggplay sucks or exaggerate or anything of that sort, you said 'ggplay cannot play zvt and zvz' basically, and that is plain wrong.

Ah, but you ignore the fact that I love all toss players. Espescially when they lose!
