I can't believe that nobody said that there is no such team SKT1 yet. You could notice that SKT means SK Telecom while T1 is a team name, so you can write SKT, SKT T1 or SK Telecom T1.
SKT1 is just a bench of letters and means nothing.

I don't know if he wanted to commit to this strategy before the game. But once he lost the oracle to a widow mine without doing any damage/scout, it feels like he said to himself I need to do something crazy to win this.
Well, that was a brief appaerance of carriers, won't see them for a good while.

Man the Royal Road has been lost PartinG looked pretty amazing today so at least it was a commendable loss to a great player. But i do think Classic just has a few things to work out before he really explodes, he is so close and PvP is definitely a weird matchup and probably not his best imo. I'm sad but I know Classic will be back soon enough!

I dont even get why he has people who doubt him. A gsl win ro4 Kespa cup then ro4 blizzcon and now ro4 SSL add very good PL stats to it and Classic is criminally underrated imo.

i'm not usually a big fan of specific players (other than top zergs of course), but i love classic. i love how ever since people were calling him a fluky patchtoss he's just gotten better and better and obliterated competition at all levels. i have a soft spot for any player who's hated on and severely underrated for their play, and classic is the king of those players. he almost seems like the barry bonds of starcraft, insanely talented and just wrecking people yet people always find silly reasons to dismiss his skill. and i was a huge barry bonds fan too lol
i've loved watching him ever since classic vs polt at blizzcon :D hope he continues to dominate, absolutely the best protoss in the world who isn't universally accepted as a tier 1 player (hero, parting, rain, etc.)

Such an interesting build vs Gumiho. Pity it didn't work, but I'm definitely going to have to give that one a try on ladder.

Classic sealing the deal for SKT as expected. With that extra win, Classic now has a higher winrate across all of this last season of proleague than any other protoss who secured at least 10 wins.

So great to have Classic making appearance in Proleague again, and even better that he finally beat Zest. I really hope oov sends him out more in round 2, he is easily their best protoss. Fun fact: looking at, the regular round telecom derbies from 2014 to the present, SKT has gone 6-0 when Classic was in the lineup, and 1-3 when he was benched.

The last two losses vs Dark were distinct. Vs INnoVation it was really, really tight imo. There were genuine nail-biters in that match. Even though he didn't qualify im fairly impressed. Beating stats 2 times, inno 1 time and losing each decider 2-3.
Really looking forward to watch him play again .)

Did anyone mention that Classic has qualified for Global Finals already? The lowest he can finish is 8th and even that requires some combination of TY, sOs, and SoO to place 1st and 2nd in season 3 and the super tournament.
It's still barely possible for Stats to get knocked out.
edit: It's possible for Classic to finish 8th (with Rogue outside top 8 and automatic bid from Katowice) and not qualify, so nm, but it would still require the above to happen.

I was perhaps cheering a bit more for sOs but I must say I am very happy for Classic! A great player who really deserved this. And so impressive to be able to manage a reverse sweep. Twice!

I think Classic should be a favorite to win Blizzcon. If you look at his results this year - they are better than Serrals for sure, and people think that Serral will win Blizzcon. 1 Korean Weekender (and ST 2 is much more important than GSL vs. The World), his IEM/WESG in total is at least as good as Serral if not better. Serral's WCS victories were against meek competition and don't compare to Classics' ro8 (lost to Stats) and ro4 (lost to Maru) which included crushing two groups of death. Classic also beat Maru in ST1 losing to Dark in ro4.
Classic's year has been amazing. Him, Maru, TY, and Stats are the favorites of this tournament and Serral/Rogue/sOs/Dark/Zest are on the outside looking in.
