Did anyone mention that Classic has qualified for Global Finals already? The lowest he can finish is 8th and even that requires some combination of TY, sOs, and SoO to place 1st and 2nd in season 3 and the super tournament.

It's still barely possible for Stats to get knocked out.

edit: It's possible for Classic to finish 8th (with Rogue outside top 8 and automatic bid from Katowice) and not qualify, so nm, but it would still require the above to happen.

I was perhaps cheering a bit more for sOs but I must say I am very happy for Classic! A great player who really deserved this. And so impressive to be able to manage a reverse sweep. Twice!

I think Classic should be a favorite to win Blizzcon. If you look at his results this year - they are better than Serrals for sure, and people think that Serral will win Blizzcon. 1 Korean Weekender (and ST 2 is much more important than GSL vs. The World), his IEM/WESG in total is at least as good as Serral if not better. Serral's WCS victories were against meek competition and don't compare to Classics' ro8 (lost to Stats) and ro4 (lost to Maru) which included crushing two groups of death. Classic also beat Maru in ST1 losing to Dark in ro4.

Classic's year has been amazing. Him, Maru, TY, and Stats are the favorites of this tournament and Serral/Rogue/sOs/Dark/Zest are on the outside looking in.

Truly the hero of this Blizzcon. Really think that it will be remembered more than anything else by his improbable win over Rogue. Thanks for everything to an all time great.
