I still have difficulty not considering the Maru - Rain OSL not in the GSL category just because of a name change. It was high level, it played WCS KR role... What else do we need ? | ||

Other than the name difference OSL & GSL (OSL = OnGamenet Starleague) The organizer of the tournament was not GOMTV, it was OGN 2013 WCS Korea OSL had a different sponsor (OnGamenet, not Hot6). (I think, I might be wrong) Their bo+ lengths were different. In the Ro32, players only had to play Bo1's and in the Ro16 all the players had to play 3 Bo3's (unlike the normal GSL), and it also involves potential tie breakers (Like with Rain, Fantasy, First and Hyvaa's group). They also had a different trophy (it was like the Auction all-kill Trophy that Rain has) They played in a different studio from the GSL studio. There you go, quite big differences TBH | ||
