I would take any high level player atm. Maru has a little down lately. Nothing wrong with it at all, since young players will allways have more fluctuations in their results than more experienced ones, but prime's rooster is too small to lose any constant performer. I don't like the people in prime. They always make me feel bad about myself because they are so good. BUT, they have the sickest uniforms ever. So consider me a fan.
PRIME is on the rise again. With BBoongBBoong and Salmosa qualifying for Code A, Maru & Creator passing the critical Ro48 against tough opponents (yes, noblesse played pretty well in that series and would've won with this level against most of the Code A protosses) by playing well and Marineking making it to the Ro8 in Code S for the first time since GSL Jan. 2011. Seems like the team as a whole overcame its slump and is kicking ass again :-)
No shame in losing to TSL. Such a hard team for Prime and their terrans. Just wish MKP hadn't moved that racks against Symbol, may have been a lot different.

Everyone but MarineKing is playing in the IPL HoTS Open Bracket qualifier atm. First round is basically complete with all of the Prime players except HogU advancing. HogU unfortunately fell 2-0 to Ragnarok. Ragnarok 2-0d DRG shortly after in the next round

On a more serious note: I think all three of them got very doable groups, but that all of them pulled through like that is still a great feat. You can't allways win, but to bounce back as a team after disappointing results is what makes champions.

yeah that's good news. Glad they were able to get through ok. Hopefully some of them can get back to Code S Marineking vs JangBi Maru vs Bbyong ByuN vs KeeN Creator vs trust They should all be winnable games. Bbyong's TvT isn't that great so Maru should be ok there. Trust looks ok in some of his other matchups but his pvp looked bad in the up and downs so I'm confident in Creator. JangBi has been playing better lately but MarineKing should still be able to take that one too. ByuN will probably have the most trouble facing KeeN since KeeN has been playing a lot better lately.

Creator looks like a shell of his former self - making mistakes you never believed he would do. Marineking playing an interesting build, but lacking again to execute it perfectly. Byun delivering at least one point... not enough. The rest of the team is obviously not good enough to even be fielded or Gerrard lacks faith in them. Either way it's a complete disaster for a team that was a little more than one year ago the best team in the world, winning every team competition they entered. The situation is comparable to what we had in the second half of 2011. Back then they pulled out themselves with Creator and Maru stepping it up big time and Marineking getting back into form. I wonder if they have a similar miracle in store now.

I'm not sure about PRIME,I somehow feel like they won't be there for much longer. Rumors about PRIME closing have been around a while now,and their hope on a big sponsor doesnt really grow with performances like this. Hell,everytime we've seen something from PRIME players since HotS release has been pretty dissapointing. I mean,Byun's all kill was great,but the loss against NSH was a damn shame and todays performance was a big dissapointment. It's getting to a point where even the biggest PRIME fanboys like me think it may be better if they disband and their top players search for new teams.Shouldnt be too hard for them to find a great team to be honest
Can Prime recover against LG-IM? Despite being allways optimistic I have serious doubts. LG-IM has some very strong players in Yoda and Losira which are joined by their solid Protoss lineup. I hope they can at least make a good showing and proove that they are no push overs.

Prime just looking like a punching bag for the rest of the league. no player really in form, everyone's lacking confidence. against ST they looked ok, but in the match against NSH they broke apart and never recovered from that. And I don't think, considering how the games went, it's a case of opponents being to well prepared because of Prime's predictability. It's more a case of all 4 key players lacking form. Noone delivers right now. That's the real problem.

Well formost we saw why Gerrard fielded the same players over and over again. There needs to be a lot of work done, before Terror and Chance can be considered as reliable.

With terror coming out every now and then it would at least force the opponent teams to prepare vs a zerg. I hope Gerrard keep mixing them in every now and then in future games. Was nice to see a change from the Prime team.
Terror won a lucky allin game against an already struggling Gumiho. It's not that I'm not happy for him, but you shouldn't read too much into this win. He has potencial, but still a long road to go.

Wow, what a first match. The only real disappointment was Kal´s performance. He just has really bad micro. Wasting all his air units like that... You won´t even see that on Master level of play. His only wins so far were clear BO wins. Despite that, he was crushed over and over again, not looking good with his builds, micro, decision making at all. I wonder how long it´s gonna take until he is benched. Because leaving out players like Byun or Choya to play him seems very questionable. (Choya might not be the greatest macro game player, but he is at least a master of mindgames, knows his stuff in and out and has the micro to pull it off) Also: Is choya now a coach or a player? I thought he joined as a player... Either way, he is a great addition to the team, because he will help all those talented players so much to bring out their best performance, when it matters. That´s what he has done at fOu/FXO for years and it kinda already worked out today.
I see them winning against IM. But SKT1 seems hard while sending State and Choya... And using MKP as 4th might bring along extra pressure. Kinda weird they're not using Byun yet.

MarineKing and Creator have to pull this one... I hope in 3-1 for Prime, but I think it will be 3-2/2-3... If the first player can "swing momentum" then it can be 3-1 easily!
Some major changes: Prime screwed over by their main sponsor, then getting a new main sponsor, MKP(ye its MKP whether you like it or not) leaving, Salvation leaving, rest of the team staff having a real salary in 4 years and from I heard many new players incoming...
To clear things out, who is still on Prime's roster? Obviously Creator,Barbie( :D ), State and propably ByuN? Liquidpedia show KassiA and TerrOr too, but to be honest I think neither of them is playing for Prime... The name should sound familiar, as he had quite a lengthy BW career, as did someone with a similar id (GooJila). The weird thing is, in Sync's games vs. Genius he's wearing the generic black shirt of his race underneath like all the other teamless players did, as opposed to the white tee Prime players wore. Maybe he got cold both times and the numerous Prime guys around were the only ones with hoodies to spare?
