It's kinda weird, I'm not sure why you're struggling. I don't think it's a lack of practice, considering you've played 600+ games on NA ladder this season, and more on EU too -- probably way more than some of the players who are beating you. Still learning LotV? NA ladder not good practice? Or just underperforming in tournaments? underperforming in tournament ;; i went 84-4 on NA ladder in my match history and almost as good on EU .. x_x

Yeah, probably it.
Btw, feel free to ignore my amateur analysis -- Game 1 vs MaSa you didn't need 90+ drones, since u had 5K mineral bank that you couldn't spend anyway (assuming all gas geysers were fully mining ... couldn't tell). Your army was too small, and you couldn't counter even after winning engagements.
Also, don't be afraid to drop 10+ spines and 2 spores on each expo to defend from drops. You had the minerals to do it, and more static d would have changed the game entirely. Neeb does this with cannons vs. Terran late game and it's really effective in dealing with drops/multi prong.

Damn, no work today and still missed all her matches... . But judging from Masa's twitter Sasha put on a good fight. Another week to prepare for the next one (maybe Masa and Kelazhur make it through and mostly protoss remain), doesn't sound sad bad.

I wouldn't count the games against TLO last week too much, cos they where build order losses and against Mana you tried some "fresh" builds (did you train with some crazy "lucky beggar" from ucraine? :D) and almost won your series. I wouldn't put too much weight into that losses.
Not sure if it would be that helpful, but maybe you could mix some weekly tournaments in your training. In the later stages you would face opponents who bring most likely their a game and you could simulate the situation of a qualifier/bigger tournament. It might sound silly, but maybe you aren't just as used to the tournament pressure/situation again, especially when you know your games are casted. If you think i'm wrong just completely ignore the crap i wrote cos ofc i just wanna see more games of you. :D

If you're going 84-4 on ladder, a lot of those games can't be helping you much. More weeklies, like Corsair Cups, ESL weeklies, Filthy NA Cups, etc, could maybe help get your tournament groove back.

Hey i love my weird post's (far too much), but i agree that they often seem "a little" nonsensical and my excellent english knowlege doesn't really help with that... .
Yea, in weekly cups the quality of games/players is better in general (at least in the later rounds). Also its good to play a couple of games cross server under tournament conditions to stay used to the lags in pressure situations (but Canadian internet may already help enough with that...). And with Na cups she would help the organizers a lot, since they often have poor signups. Its always painful to see how small the brackets are compared to the Eu ones...

It's also a time when the game is so highly volatile -- Marinelord 5-0's Korea in Nation Wars, and then fails to make RO16 at Dreamhack. Ptitdrogo wins Dreamhack, and then fails to qualify for WCS Winter a week later. The meta is in such flux still that it might be hard to achieve any type of consistency.

Nerpderp is spot on - it's all good Sasha it's practically a whole new approach to SC2 that is still being discovered every day, in these months of experimentation it's impossible to achieve consistency because all your opponents are trying new things every game, to see if any strat shines above the rest. I would not read too much into it You're still a world champion and nothing can change that. Give it time lots of time.
Also i am so, so sorry but because of insane work and ferocious attempts to push through german bureaucracy i had to miss all your games but i cheer with my heart. <3

Totally unrelated, but Sasha what happened to your planned kittens?

Same for me ("no quality control is gg for my internet"). But awesome that she signed up.
Also she anwered Butters question about Korea earlier today (in Basetradtv's chat). \o/

It seems that she is 1A moving her army a lot. Need to split her army better when defending against drops.

As happy as I am that she's going back to Korea, I'll be sad that we likely won't see her as much in European/NA tourneys, even for small things like the Filthy NA cup. It's nice to see her pop up every now and then.
