Bracket: http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/2016_DreamHack_Open/Leipzig/Playoffs The group 3rd from bottom: Firecake, Serral, HuK, and Scarlett? Scarlett in Quarterfinals almost automatically. Nice try Scarlett! Good job fighting your way through the Qualifiers and the Group Stage! edit: Btw, there are a ton of 3-1's and 3-0's in the Ro32. Maybe players aren't used to playing LotV at big events yet, and that's resulting in a lot of them getting tilted after a first loss?

Especially game 1, getting bling sided by that many mutas... I know ZvZ scouting is hard but still. I'm not trying to criticize I'm just trying to understand

And TLO with his natural trickiness, I think this phase of the meta at big events will favor someone with his play-style. I wonder if the first few months of a new SC2 expansion are just a race to figure out and exploit the most broken elements before they wind up being fixed, and therefore result in a lot more aggressive play; or if people play conservatively because they don't want to be vulnerable to cheese (Scarlett's mindset?) Wasn't the last Scarlett interview ages ago? #SomeoneInterviewScarlett!

I am serious. Sasha in a group with TLO and Snute? Way rougher than the above mentioned. To further my point; didn't Sasha just shut-out HuK pretty hard in the Qualifiers? HuK, who made it to the Ro16 over BeastyQT? Sasha = Ro16 caliber, easily.

Huk got fairly lucky with one of the easiest Ro32 opponents possible.

I disagree that Firecake and Serral (both Zergs) are better than TLO (TLO, who 3-2'd Snute), especially in Germany. You're only as good as your last game. Do you think both Firecake and Serral (both Zergs) would have beaten Snute edit: and TLO? I don't. Also, TLO has always been the-bomb at events in Germany. Look, my main point was that given an easier group or opponent, Sasha was a shoe-in for the Quarterfinals. Perhaps I'm mistaken about Serral and Firecake's group, but I stand by my point. But still, if you think Serral and Firecake are better than Snute and TLO hands-down, (especially Snute), then IDK what to tell you other than you're crazy. Put Sasha up against Serral and Firecake, and she would have beaten one of them, and her beating HuK is obvious, is what I'm getting at; which would practically = Scarlett in the quarterfinals. edit: I will grant you that "almost automatically" was too strong of a phrase.

Given hope weird ZvZ has always been, and how its weirdness seems explified in LotV making absolute comments like "she was in a shoe-in for the quarterfinals"; "She would have beaten one of them" seem odd, and unproductive.
