going to watch this after Solar finishes his opponent in dramhack -- well , just saw the games, seemed really tough against HuK but the trademark creep spread and muta play are still very much present, nothing can change that. I didnt see her making too much use of the new lurker and ravager, i guess it will take some time until she figures out how to best incorporate them in her style, but she is probably taking one thing at a time, first getting used to all economy changes, and then the units and stuff. All things considered, i cant even say how much i missed seeing her play, so this was really cool to watch. the drone boost from the new lotv economy seems to benefit her playstyle a lot, with early 3rd and such. btw i love how she does the timing, e.g. in game 4 it was impeccable, drone sent out and it started the 3rd precisely at 3:00, not one second less. i think its just of a couple of weeks of training before reaching top form again and maybe one more week to understand the new stuff (disruptors seemed very tough to dodge); dont know how much she will play due to having University next year and such but for the moment I am very hyped that she is back  tyvm Team Gravity, Shura and Huk | ||

Many thanks to him for letting his daughter choose such an awesome path and letting her travel and explore the world, not many parents understand what competitional gaming is and what it involves. | ||

I didnt mean it like that, in the sense that parents could or should entirely choose their children's career paths, because im not fucking amish, but since you asked - I was merely pointing out that her father seems like a genuinely awesome guy to talk to. I really liked that bit he said about LISP. And when you think that Sasha is so successful in gaming, which for most people is impossible to achieve, this proves even more what a great understanding and supportive guy her father is - it takes a lot of strength to encourage your daughter on a path that many other parents condemn, we know the talk, "its not a safe career blabla blup" is what most would say. Also, having had the wonderful opportunity to spend time with Sasha and her friends in Korea, I can say hats off to her father for raising her to be equally open-minded, modest, and with a mindset of, basically, achieving stuff regardless of how tough it is. That is rare. As for the second thing, yea, win some tournaments, itll make your folks change their mind | ||
