they didnt say it wasnt going to be until the other day and when scarlett said she is going to play the qualifiers oen would think pros would have some better information as to if a game is going to be at a tournament. so they can schedule there.time.

they never said it would happen either
I can tell you that 2 months ago, when they announced the season 10, the only known sc2 event for the admin were shenzhen, the asian tour (most probably taipei) and Katowice. There was supposed to have no sc2 at gamescom (because of gfinity) but there was change of plan only recently, and at that time, there was already no sc2 planned at San Jose
I'm pretty sure Scarlett wanted to go at San Jose based on the fact that there was SC2 there last year.

well its gone so just have to wait to see if she comes back now she said shes playing next year but thats along time off not playing competitively to then come back and compete at the highest levels. but till then have fun everyone in whatever you do.

Armada took a pretty long break from Melee. Came back and destroyed everyone.
Honestly, some people NEED long breaks. Just how it works.

Melee and Starcraft aren't the same though, can't compare... I really doubt Melee requires as much preparation as Starcraft

yea true you cant compare but theres just as much dedication you put in to melee to be at the top. how long of a break did amrada take? scarlett is going to be away for what like 7-8 months till the new season? and then you add the time she has been gone prior to this adds up to a year plus she'll have not played competitively. not saying she couldnt do it but it will be a very steep mountain to climb.

It's pretty comparable actually. Armada was pretty much gone for little over a full year with only 1 tournament played during that time.

I suggested a new owner mostly as a joke because I thought it'd be funny to have someone like setguitarstokill as the owner for some reason... never was a big preoccupation of mine, you're doing fine ;p

I guess so, she just didn't want to talk about it beforehand which is pretty fine, so everything should be ok. It was planned longterm, she gave hints several months ago (it was called "Ukraine Journey" in here - if thats the reason for her actual stay).
