Parting didn't pay attention to what race we were so he asked us at the start of the game. We were Terran, but Templar used brilliant mindgames and said we were Protoss. As soon as the scouting scv hit his base, he called us trolls and left.

Might sound silly, Scarlett, but you might want to try Destiny's ZvP build that he "beat" PartinG with. I think it really fits your style -- defensive, 4-bases, relies on queens/creep spread/macro, etc.

Actually no. I saw him hold those often enough. His build is strong against all 2 base protoss allins.
It depends on how early they hit. Once the swarm host count gets high enough (maybe 5 or more?), that along with queen and roach support allowed Destiny to hold off a lot of early-mid game aggression.
Despite Destiny being the "pioneer" of this build, I actually think it's pretty well thought out (I watch his stream a lot). When done right the cost-efficiency is insane, which is what allows him to do it on 4 bases, even if the Protoss is vastly outmining him.
