Either way, she almost took down a GSL semi-finalist today, and in her current toughest matchup. She's gotten better and better (ZvP is a strength now!), and is now good enough to realistically win WCS in a few weeks! | ||

If she doesn't feel like being like "OMG I LOVE YOU ALL!" in interviews then that's totally understandable because if she did it when not really wanting to then it wouldn't be sincere. Also we wouldn't want Scarlett to burst out in tears on camera when declaring her love for us. (Famous twich emote starting with a K). It's good that you have changed your mind about her though. | ||

That series against Parting was worth the price of admission on its own, that has to be one of the highlights of the year. To see the look on Parting's face as he (spoiler alert) got 0-2'd, as he was obviously thinking to himself, is this really happening, was priceless. It turns out that being able to transition from deadly all-ins into a formidable macro game makes you a very dangerous opponent. Who would've thought? I was critical of Scarlett's zvt before but that was 10x better from her. She might not have got the result but she pushed 2 of the best terrans in the world to the limit and was just inches from advancing in both series. Zvt is just in a really tough place right now, the heavy thor/mine style most terrans are using leaves the zerg almost no room for error. On top of all the usual macro, injects, creep spread etc you have to keep on top of, now you have to babysit your army every moment because any time you move your army could be the last. It is brutal. It's actually amazing that anyone can keep up with their constant macro rhythm and move their army perfectly ...at 300APM! I mean, that's the whole reason they nerfed the mine the last time. Everyone knows terran needed a boost but there's no other way to put it: the widow mine is fucking stupid. Combine that with the maps, where a lot of them it's like, how do you defend your 4th, and I don't think there's any zerg out there not struggling with the matchup ATM. Anyway it's a pleasure to see Scarlett playing so well, of course there's always room to improve, but overall it was a fantastic performance. | ||
