This is correct; people blaming her for going SH are completely clueless. Terran atm is an absolute pain -and playing THE NR 1 TERRAN in the world is even more painful, so you have to try and find solutions. If passionhosts are the solution, then let there be passionhosts. | ||

Exactly she played her best today but it didn't work but no athlete is ever going to win all the time when you play against the best you will lose sometimes but you will get the experience and knowledge to win more then you lose over time. And i am repeating myself but I think this being her real big tournament in awhile played a role, i believe she was way more nervous then she had been in a long time. this one was super hyped prolly putting more pressure then normal. | ||

I'm more curious about her decision to go 2-base muta in game one, and then the hatch block in game 2. Two base mutas are a huge gamble, and this is the first time I've ever seen Scarlett hatch block a terran. | ||

Two base mutas are a huge gamble, and this is the first time I've ever seen Scarlett hatch block a terran. my guess would be in g2 she simply wanted to buy some time, until she could comfortably expand. and g1, well she has mastered the muta harass game, she can use them to harass and contain the terran and keep him on a defensive stance while she expands back at home, so it's still a viable solution in some cases. The idea here would be also to buy time to drone up heavily and not have to focus on defending all the time. Flash doesnt seem to be that aggressive with drops so this was a valid choice. | ||

Anyway Scarlett fighting! Than one was really difficult; ZvZ is horribly volatile and Life is the most nerve-wrecking player one could be put against. Against Life, it's literally one tiny mistake and youre forced to GG out. But since she actually knows his style and tricks very well, she can counter him with the same kind of aggression - so between Scarlett and Life it's always a matter of game deciding situations that happen in less than a second - if she had seen the nydus just a single second earlier, she couldve taken it out and wouldve had zero queens pop out of it, and eventually finish off the roaches and Life wouldve 99% gg'ed out, he had one shot at making it work, and that was taking the queens out of the nydus. Life got incredibly lucky there. What I find amazing is how incredibly fast she realized there was something wrong over there, when she saw all the queens with the lings i think - she immediately rushed to that part of the map where she knew it COULD ve been a nydus poped up, and there it was. crazy good awareness, against the top zerg player in the world. | ||
