Well speaking of this year's results, the way I see it, the problem with that "slump" of a few months earlier was that she was not getting enough valuable practice outside Korea. Her mechanics may be top notch but if she does not get constantly challenged with better opponents, she will just get #1 NA ladder then get bored and think there is nothing more to improve. Which is why going to Korea was the perfect decision, now she can learn new things and it really shows. She almost established an all kill double record, and thats only after about a month of practice (she did not have a computer available when she initially got there). I'm a fan of Scarlett for one simple thing, her capability to adapt is like no other zerg i have watched and she can outplay and outsmart anyone, it's just a matter of time and valuable practice; she plays very clever, is never passive, is not afraid to switch tactics when necessary, always reacts properly and seems to have solutions combined with outstanding mechanics for everything. I've seen no other player come back like her from clearly visible disadvantages and being outnumbered, with winning by finding the perfect combination of units. As for the zvz, i wouldn't worry that much about it, it's the most volatile matchup and I hope she won't take radical decisions just based on a few games. Keep fighting Sasha. | ||
