I know that Scarlett probably doesn't want us to discuss this ad naseum, but I have to mention how much I respect her for being a pro gamer. It's hard when every reddit thread, stream chat, or youtube video is filled with idiotic trolls making the most asinine comments. She must be exhausted from having to deal with this issue over and over and over again, and probably just wants to play the game in peace. She didn't ask to be a role model for the LGBT community, but she is, by virtue of how awesome she is at Starcraft. And that's incredibly difficult. But I hope she keeps in mind that the reason why she gets so much attention is precisely that ... because she's awesome. I hate to compare, but how often did anyone ever talk about LeiYa, or Tilea? There's a charismatic star quality about Scarlett, in and out of game, that attracts attention from fans and detractors alike. She's special, and she kicks ass. And she shouldn't ever forget that. | ||

Didn't 2GD make almost the exact same comments on last year's (or year before) drunken State of the Game Christmas episode? And I'm certain there were several complaints over that as well. And I'm even more certain that he had the same "I was drunk" justification back then... Anyone else remember this, or am I just losing it? | ||
