I normally don't like watching it but her matches against Nerchio (1 hour game on Daybreak, anyone?) in a tournament I can't recall now were simply epic! I just want to point out the irony of Stephano saying zvz is his weakest matchup then he handily takes out Life and DRG, but then loses to Xlord. Just funny IMO. But Scarlett won't replace Stephano. Scarlett is a amazing player, but Stephano basically redefined zvt and zvp (the use of infestors, roach max, the spine wall, hydras in zvt) Scarlett is great but she hasn't defined a race like Stephano did. I also think the one lesson we can take away from Stephano is that, no matter your success, you need to continue to play the game on your own terms. I think it's fair to say that once he joined EG, and after they pressured him to come to Korea and train to play in Proleague, he got burned out and lost his love for the game. He then never really dedicated enough time to transition successfully to HoTS, which no doubt contributed to his decision to retire. That's why whenever people are pining for Scarlett to play in WCS Season 3, I think they should all take a step back and realize that her longevity requires her continuing passion for the game, which depends on her ability to play the game on her own terms. She has, without a doubt, earned a break to heal her wrists and take a much-needed breather from the game, and fans should support that. I have no idea what your talking about with Stephano. Even on Millennium, he made it very clear he played this game for the money and that he had intentions to quit. i really don't think it's fair for you (who know nothing about his personal life/time on EG) to say that EG burnt him out/pressured him to do anything. He always planned to retire, this wasn't something new after joining EG
This is a Scarlett thread and it's sounding more like a Stephano thread. He's always said he's in it for the money, yes. But He enjoyed playing the game. He said in an interview that after he went to korea he lost enjoyment for the game. It just wasn't enjoyable for him anymore. So he decided to retire. Not to say Korea killed his career, but he lost his passion and if you don't find something enjoyable anymore it's time to go. Go out on top instead of slowly going downhill like Idra did.

Health is the most important of all. I have suffered the same injury, but more serious, I am a musician and after being continued playing injured. The injury has made me chronic, now I can just learn to live with it doing my job, playing, etc. a break in time are years of gl hf

He's said in multiple interviews that he hated being in Korea, and it was widely known that he was pressured to go there because EG wanted to build up their Korean proleague team (why else would he do something he hated?). Just search for it on youtube/reddit.
Ok, no more talk about Stephano from me. GOOD LUCK TO SCARLETT THIS WEEKEND! KICK SOME ASS! Three terrans in your group .. you can't lose! =D

Makes perfect sense to me. He just basically said he had a similar injury to Scarlett and that it had become chronic due to not stopping and healing like he should have. He doesnt want that to happen to her - hence the arguement against the mindless people who continue to babble and push for her to play next season.
Health first always.

Thank you Relentless`. You understand what I said. Sometime is hard to express what I mean because it is not my native language. I will ask for patience

^This.
Plus, Scarlett is still young, has an undeniable talent that won't just disappear after a break, and if her decision-making level for her career matches up with the one she's displaying in-game, she could very well be around for quite some time.
Yes it's always difficult to come back to the top after a break. But what really matters is passion. And how to preserve it.

Good luck today Scarlett and have fun

I honestly don't think a break will hurt her at all. I mean yes it will take some time to get back into it but I don't really have any doubt she will be able to if she wants to, and she wants to.
And as everyone is saying, there is no point ruining your body, then you can never play at the top.
