Gz Babyknight on (pretty much) qualifying for TSL4.
Even if he only finishes 2nd in this qualifier he got enough points that stars have to align in an almost impossible way for him to drop out of the top8. Realisticly there is no way that 6 players right below him all will get enough points at the same time in the last qualifier.
I remember this guy from I think it was dota-league.com back in the day. He was crushing noobs like me, but still wasnt on a (big) team back then. Since then I always kinda following him losely. Great to see that his hard work has paid off and he gets some exposure now. All the best in TSL 4 man you deserve it.
Anyone know how the WCS Denmark ended? Or is it even done? Liquipedia havent been updated with the last games and I could never get the stream working yesterday...

Saw a game vs Grubby on Grubby's stream once, and decided to check his stream out. He only got better since then, and I think he has a big future ahead of him! Sign me up!
Nice! Finally some more exposure to BabyK! With being at WCS EU (I hope) and Assembly he is finally out there at the bigger events where he can really make a name for himself...
I casted a game between BabyKnight and Dreambunny from WCS Denmark qualifiers. Check it out guys, also I will probably cast many more replays of BabyKnight in the future!
I have started a blog on http://starcraftstalker.blogspot.dk/ that will report on stuff going on in the community. I'll make sure to post information on your results BabyKnight, as you are a personal favourite.
This guy's improvement rate is even more impressive than his kick ass play. He is getting SO good, SO fast. Surpassing expectations almost each and every time.
He's taking down opponents like WhiteRa and Ret now, like it ain't no thing...
So good to see BabyKnight finally performing well in a setting like the WCS E Finals. It is obivious that he needs a bit experience playing like this, but if he stays focussed today he can make it all the way.
Thank you BabyKnight for accepting this interview with s.163.com. Now that everything is over, can you talk to us about your feelings regarding your performance at BWC?
It wasn't too bad, but the match against HerO was a little disappointing. I think I didn't manage to perform to the best of my abilities. But defeating Rain really felt good, so it was still pretty good overall.
The match where you defeated Rain in the group stage was very entertaining.
I was really happy. The strategies that he chose were not actually too suitable for the maps that we were playing on. I think my personal style helped me to be able to win the match. Because he chose the wrong strategies, it gave me some advantage, and so I decided to play a more standard style, and slowly improve on my lead and guaranteeing the win.
What's the greatest difference between your style and the style of a Korean Protoss?
Their strategies and styles are more complete, and the amount of practice they do is far more than me. For me, I prefer to rely on my opponent making mistakes, and my control.
As the Denmark champion, how would you grade your performance at BWC?
My performance in Shanghai? 7 points I guess, if the total is upon 10.
Can you introduce us a bit more to the Starcraft scene in Denmark?
Our circle isn't a big one. There are some decent players, but they aren't really famous.
We don't have any major websites either, so most Denmark players usually look at teamliquid or other major international websites. Our playerbase isn't very big in terms of numbers, but we have many people who care about eSports, and we have some people who would organise Barcrafts.
How do you view your future as a professional gamer? Or is it more like an interest?
I will keep playing. I really like Starcraft. If there's a Warcraft 4 or Starcraft 3 in the future I might consider switching, but as for now, I will keep playing until there are no tournaments for me to play in.
As an ex-Dota player, what made you switch to Starcraft 2?
Because I felt I preferred 1v1s. Even though I was a team games player in the past, I'm better at 1v1s. I really like the mindset where you can focus on the game and slowly improve yourself.
Many Dota players tend to blame their team mates after losing, but I prefer playing on my own and slowly improving myself.
What's your most unforgettable moment in your professional career?
I think it is probably the moment where I managed to defeat Ret at the WCS Europe Finals and advanced into the World Finals at shanghai. I was really very happy. And in the games after that, my goal had already changed from winning to just enjoying myself.
Your performance at BWC has won you many new fans.
Thank you everyone for supporting me. This is really important to me. Please continue cheering for me. Thank you.
BabyKnight got an invite to HSCVI! He just told Hasuobs on his stream. Glad to see a player of his caliber get an invite to one of my favorite tournaments to watch!
omg that last game wcs ro.16 vs vortix was the best starcraft 2 game i've ever seen. i think babykinght deserved the win,but vortix played extremely well too. gl further, and win whole tournament, why not
Please sign me up. I am always thankful when somebody as polite as BK wins games like yesterday. He seems like such a great guy and player. I hope he is doing well in the future!
