Hello everyone. We’d first like to thank you all who « joined » Welmu’s fan club.
Do you have questions you wish you could ask Welmu? Ask them here and once a month, Welmu will answer you. Posts written between today and August the 15th will be answered later that month. We would then go on on that same rythm month after month.
Sincerely,

Pretty tough and frustrating getting to the top-16, 8, 4 and 8 in the WCS EU qualifiers, but with no reward. ;_;
Hoping for good things in the future. Keep it up, man.

Again as close as it gets, now in the WCS EU Challenger League Qualifier, but with no reward.

Lol, he dropped only one map and it was against Morrow in finals. Well played.
Watched map contest games! Nice games well played Golden, Apocalypse and MorroW are not easy opponents! Tsi tsii!

I've been watching his stream a fair bit lately. One of my favourite protosses and DEFINITELY my favourite Extended Thermal Lance-forgetting protoss. It's ridiculous that there are so few pages in this thread and so few listed fans! Sign me up!
I missed the rest of that tournament and he won it! I'm going to have to watch the VODs. ARGH! Can someone link them? I searched SC2 liquipedia for "TeamLiquid Map Contest" and "TLMC" and got no relevant results... AH. http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/Team_Liquid_SC2_Open <- I expected it to have a Map Contest-related name. Problem NOT solved though. here is no entry for TL Open Map Contest 2. Does anyone have VOD links of games within the tournament? Don't be kriidi now, share the links. There is this one: http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/TL_Open_Map_Contest/2 but it doesn't show any VOD links.
I'm looking forward to this group, not just because of Welmu but because of the the combination of match-ups with Thorzain, Welmu, BabyKnight and Ret. 2013 WCS Europe Season 2 Premier League Ro32 Group E

Sorry I have no idea of TLMC replays :/ It had some really cool games (especially the ones vs MorroW really using the maps for their full potential )
Looking forward for tomorrow. Interesting group for Welmu, he could win it 4-0 or drop out 0-4. I haven't seen his stream lately hope he is doing good.
GOGO WELMU TSITSII

Wooow Welmu won his WCS ro32 group, impressive stuff! Well played yo.
Surprising & Congrats!
Wish you hadn't 4 gated the last game against ret... but good none the less
He says 'like' a lot, did he learn English from a Geordie lol?
Anyway, onto my liquibets... Time to throw them out of the bloody window, had Welmu down as bottom 2... Good job though, pretty tough group. Nice to see players upsetting the 'usual' lot. We don't want everyone else in the world thinking we only have 6-7 good players in Europe, we've got tons :D
On July 10 2013 04:29 Mallidon wrote: He says 'like' a lot, did he learn English from a Geordie lol?
I'm from Finland too, and have the same thing. I think it's if you're not used to speak English too much, so you have to think what to say next and you just can't find the right word. Second theory is, that the words in Finnish are veeeeryy long when compared in English words, so maybe we're just used to talk slowly and stretch our sentences
Count me into his fanclub!
It's a wonderful day for Club Welmu
Tough group ahead for welmu, but hopefully you can continue your great form and get to ro8!
Welmu playing at WCS EU RO16 now. And looking strong! Beating lucifron 2-1 and now 1-1 against Duckdeok korean protoss player.

First out of his ro16 WCS group! WOOOW GOOD JOB MAN!
Seems all those wcs qualifier games payed off for premier league :p
wow crazy my predictions so far were duckdeok 2-0 stephano, welmu 2-1 lucifron, welmu 2-0 duckdeok :O
Welmu so good! Glad he made to ro8!
Yeah I believed since the beginning this would be Welmu's WCS. Congratulations!
Please vRRRRite me down Grats Welmu!
Very well played. Extremely nice to see you having the success you deserve.
Edit. Keep up the good work.
I'll update the biography when he gets eliminated and/or wins the whole thing. It'd be a bit premature to update it now.
Also, make sure to specifically say "add me" or some variant otherwise I won't add you to the fan club simply cause it doesn't make much sense to just add everyone that posts.
I'd like to join, please! :D
Welmu will play against MC at WCS EU RO8 after that it will be either MMA or HasuObs. MC called Welmu ezpz, oh boy our king will make him regret those words!
MC didn't look so scary today against Titan so I think Welmu has got a good chance at winning that first series if he can keep his cool and know when to go for the kill. And MC just being MC makes the series so much for prominent. I think it was a really good drawing.
Hopefully will avoid the Artosis curse for the placement matches.
Welmu hwaitin!

Keep on rockin an rollin.

Taking a game off MC and taking a game of Rain -- NOTHING TO BE ASHAMED OF
Nice performance, dude.
Nice performance. And those games were not easy for MC and Rain! Nothing to be ashamed of! Come back even stronger next season
GJ!
Hope you're feelin better!
Finland's Yellow Star!
As i said in page 2 pls add me to fans!
Great job Welmu!
I hope you feel better already, but don't rush your condition

Quite hard group tbh. But atleast there is one PvP and no PvT
Why don't he make storm (((
Wow Welmu is back!
3-0 Kane 3-1 Life :O
Now he is in group with 2 korean protoss players + Apocalypse doesn't look too bad!
Finnish players played really nice in this tournament even though Welmu was only one to go through his group. Elfi took map from JD and had exciting series against Apocalypse (final score 5-5) and Serral beat Happy 3-2 and only barely lost to TaeJa 2-3!
gogo Welmu do not disappoint!
E: Welmu is so damn good!! 3-1 vs Alicia! gogo vs Patience/Apocalypse!
Advanced first from his WCS Ro32 group after beating Starbuck and MMA. Powerful Welmu.
Not perrrfect, but rrreally well played today. Best of luck on the next stage.

Wasn't your best day, but luckily managed to squeeze through that one.
Gratz and good luck in the quarterfinals.
Way too close for my taste. Please don't do that again, Welmu. + Show Spoiler +Well, except for the winning part
Wow Welmu is on roll! all-kill bounty hunters, advance to ro8 and now 4 kills against Empire-Fnatic in ATC?!
wcs eu champion inc!
Argh.
If only you would have put your units in good position under the cliffs when Harstem was coming from his main after the recall, but I guess you did that on purpose to give him the win and showing the big-name team some mercy.
damn he lost 0-3 :/ How did he play against San?
Prrretty nice win agains RoRo today.
Keep it up tomorrow against Innovation!
The ace player of Samsung was no biggie. I expect KeSPA to take contact and whisper lucrative propositions in his ear.
Nice games against Roro I saw 2 last games!
Finland has been so good lately. Elfi and Welmu has been constantly performing well in tournaments (except Elfi in WCS, but maybe it will chance this season!) And also now Serral has been stepping up his games playing awesome series against top koreans!
Can't wait for Nation Wars 2 to start!
Good luck against Innovation tomorrow Welmu!!!
It will be hard for Welmu to win Innovation
Oh man, can't imagine how you must feel right now.
But stay strong and keep on fighting. You still did Finland proud with that close series against innovation.
So close. I am sure you know of your own mistakes in that game, so i will just say :
keep fighting, great games, I'm sure you will come back stronger
RO16 again!!
Damn that WCS twitch chat is rotten, even though you have to subscribe to talk.
WP welmu great strategy choice last game saw you doing it on your stream couple days ago ^^ Takes lots of balls to do such build in last game of the series.
Was a bit worried about your internet, but luckily it only cost you 2 games. :>
But for realz really nice games for the most part and that build on the last game was sick. Also produced many tears around the internet that I also enjoyed.
The all-kill kid is back yo
Hell, it was about time. :D
Congrats on getting your groove back on in the ATC.
Aaaaaawww yisss! Powerful Welmu sails through his Ro16 group beating Yoda and MC 4-0
Awesome WELMU! Easy! Now destroy everyone else. You look so strong!
Solid showing from the trash talk to the 4-0.
Hopefully you will get your wish and play against a Korean in ro8.
