Much of the appreciation needs to go to everyone submitting and adding to the OP like everyone who submitted Fan Art or told me about new pictures. Keth and Npht submitted the banners and Keth designed the headers for the sections. Props to everyone adding to this fan club. I am merely the one putting it all together. All the support in this thread is really great to see. I, like the majority of us (I believe), didn't know anything about Scarlett before this event but the way she played and her attitude are really refreshing and inspirational and a great addition to this community in my opinion. I truly believe that the 6th of April 2012 is a day that will be remembered in the history of SC2 eSports. At this point (and only at this point) I want to quickly address, from a personal perspective, some of the reactions to the fact that she is MtF transgender. I believe that shouldn't matter whatsoever when it comes to her as a player of StarCraft II but I do believe it matters for her as a personality. It matters only because of the reactions of some members of the community. It matters because it brought out the dirtiest and ugliest (hurtful, ignorant and rude) of this community (things I really don't understand at all) but mainly because it brought out support and passion for a person, regardless of their skin color, their gender, their sex. I know this shouldn't be a big deal but apparently it is. From the outside, this community is often perceived as immature and wanting to sweep issues under the carpet rather than dealing with them. These issues have included racism, sexism and much more but mainly they included our inability as a community to deal with them proactively. Today has shown that we are able to deal with us, Today has shown that we are able to deal with the hate and the bigotry that we usually sweep under the carpet and that remain a status quo. Today, we as a community looked into a mirror and I saw a more mature community at the end of the day. That level of maturity, self-reflection and most importantly respect should be normal in my opinion but in any case, it is on the way. I am not sure I found the right words for what I tried to say and I certainly don't want to generalize but anyway. It is 6am and I am going to get some sleep now. I guess I want to say that I have so much respect for her bravery and honesty today and at the same time I wish she wouldn't need to be courageous and wouldn't need to justify herself and could just be the amazing player we saw today. Playing on a main stage requires enough courage I think... Now goodnight!

Also, for the team discussion, EG seems like a good fit, she doesn't have to be super outgoing if she maintains her level of play. Being female and talented makes her marketable alone. Wouldn't want any of Idra's bad habits to rub off on her now would we? Liquid or Fnatic to see her in GSL/GSTL

Definitely an idiot. Really hope she can manage her nerves, she's the only person I'm cheering harder for than Liquid.

Scarlett is the future of SC2, anyone who beats DeMusliM is going to go very far. I'd bet all my money on Scarlett to be the best foreigner in the world very soon.

Stephano probably holds that title and will continue to hold that tile for a very long time.
