First of all....CONGRADZ!!! What you've just done, Scarlett, is absolutly amazing! You've DONE what 99% of us on here WANT to do. I can't wait to analyze the replays, if/when they become available. I have VERY high hopes for you, Scarlett!! I really hope to see you at MLG and have to opportunity to speak with you for a few minutes!! I really love to see new competitors climb up the ladder and PWN pros in big tournaments. Especialy since you only started playing last April(I think thats what you said in you're interview)!! I remember hearing Artosis say in an episode of SOTG, something to the effect of(do NOT quote), if you've never played SC BW or are not already in the pro scene...you'll never be a pro player. I am absolutly THRILLED to see someone(especialy a ZERG!!) completely stomp that bold statment. I'm affraid I know NOTHING about team ECLYPSIA...but I'm certain that joining this team is the first step for you, Scarlett, on a much bigger ladder than the online ladder....the PRO LADDER!! Whatever happens to team Eclypsia(I've read a few things that I don't understand so I won't comment) I know that you will continue to do VERY big things in the esports scene. I really hope you continue to make the scene more popular among the public who are not as enthusiastic about the professional gaming scene as we are!!  Don't know if casual play counts though. Eclypsia liquipedia is your friend to start finding out more on eclypsia.Other than that, seems she'll be practicing and getting better with the new team. That's kind of scary though, since I don't recall seeing her lose a game since she joined the team (except that forfeit due to technical difficulties). | ||

I don't think any ladies are able to take any Koreans except maybe Scarlett but none are in range of Code S at this moment. Also, Scarlett is on a whole other plane of existance then other SC2 ladies. Average women could maybe take certain foreigners though. It could be charming to see a caster take on a lady. Day9 could flirt his way to a date lol. When Scarlett gets a new computer will she experience a drop? I feel odd for a week after a new comp. The old one just becomes a part of you. But wow she could be something else if her new comp improves her speed. Could money rank in many foriegner tournaments! Good luck Scarlett. | ||

She said ZvT is her strongest match up already so I don't know if that's where she needs work. She did beat DeMuslim 2-0 in macro games. I think what she really needs is a Protoss practice partner. He games against Oz were good but showed a bit of inexperienced decision making. | ||

Also, I'm simultaneously glad for, and scared of this Scarlett vs Select cast up on the YouTubes (casted by the Huskies). Glad because I just saw Scarlett decimate a really good (Korean) Terran. Scared because now the issue of gender politics is within the confines of YouTube comments. People already can't shut up about Scarlett's sex status here on TL, seeing bans in droves as a result. How much worse do you think it must be on YouTube, renowned for having some of the worst people and comments on the whole of the Internet? Still a really good game to watch, at least. On the whole Scarlett v [random other woman coz she's a woman] show match issue, I just don't think it's worth the effort, with the possible exception of Flo or Aphro (tbh I've not seen enough of Aphro's play to tell what she's like these days). Scarlett is too far ahead, and heavily skewed games just aren't as fun to watch. If she's doing the novelty show match thing at all it should either be a team game as suggested above, where skill is a bit less critical, or she should play someone at her skill level. Just a thought. I just think it'd be interesting to see just how good Scarlett is and the best way to do that is for her to take on someone of the ability of the mighty Spoon of the North. | ||
