Sad to hear he isn't going to start streaming now either... ![]() well well Next week, you will go up against TaeJa for a spot in the finals. What would you say are your odds of winning? Life: I think I am 90% likely to win.

I really really REALLY hope and believe Life will do his best and will not be overconfident and will make it to the finals it is my dream for now.

Hopefully that taught him a lesson and he'll be more careful against Taeja and not throw away any leads like this. Agreed. STQ still won the match, but any lesson Life can learn before his semi-final is worth a lot, even if it means losing to a player probably inferior, skill-wise.

+ Show Spoiler + There are no brackets currently posted on the MLG website. + Show Spoiler + This makes perfect sense as MLG does not want to reveal the results before they broadcast the matches. However, Life's match history tells the whole story. A total of 7 matches were played on MLG maps with a 6-1 total score. This corresponds to 3 series in the Invite-Only Qualifiers. It is perfectly possible for players to qualify through the Winners Bracket in 3 series as shown by the EU qualifiers. In addition, all of the games are played in one day.

Awesome sleuthing, here's some of my own + Show Spoiler + Looks like Life did not receive an invite to Iron Squid II. He's in the KR qualifier, which doesn't look too stacked quite yet. http://ironsquid.binarybeast.com/xSC212092712#participants he must watch out for the dreaded player ZeNEX

i'm not so sure tbh, i was stalking match histories most of yesterday too (didn't make a thread since match history stalking is very difficult without brackets to help you know who), but there are more people in the KR quals than the EU quals, so a bye first round will be hard to get (and life probably isn't seeded high enough in the bracket for a bye, unless MLG did it randomly) plus there might have even been an extra round. 30 players for a top 3 means someone in R1 needs to win four rounds unless they got a bye, and there would only be two byes (of which life isn't seeded highly enough to get?) while life is one of the few players with no losses, not sure how or why hrmmm. almost everyone else i stalked has a few losses, so i think life probably made it, but he could have dropped out or something lol

Otherwise Life probably wouldn't have played a ladder game on the same day afterwards.

Without two consecutive set losses it's hard to see how he could have failed.
